    How long did you whisk this for? 10 minutes?

      The best thing to do is which until the mixture thickens just as Chef does in the video.
      This will take less than 10 minutes and 5-6 is closer to it.
      Also the flame under the double boiler also is a factor.
      If the flame is higher then the mixture will thicken more quickly - if lower then it will take more time.
