All things considered, this sounds so much like a Yuri boss battle. And not only would that fit given its placement as Yuri's last song before her "accident," but it'd also make sense from a storytelling standpoint as she's lost all sense of sanity due to the game breaking, and now you have to fight her off because she would LITERALLY die for you. Not to mention, this song just goes so hard on its own and shows you don't have to have a particularly low or distorted voice to come off as intimidating or unsettling.
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY FUCKING BANGER. I love the songs which are extremely intense and hard to keep up with, like at the end, that was an absolutely amazing job. amazing song 10/10
Yes, it's the part that made me love Markov along with 3:31, I love how hectic it is and that it ends with that "Eeee", it's very epic. And the 3:31,I love the combination of vocals between Yuri and BF and the sweet melody they make and then go back to the frenzy and spam of notes.(sorry, I'm not very good at putting the emotions that songs make me feel into words, especially one from fnf.)

Matt$, I was relatively unsure before but after i saw and played this mod (especially this song), you have definitely captured me with this song as a composer i now really really like. The way the song kicks off and sustains a castlevania/dungeon fighting-esque main melody really put me in my place hearing it, and when it immediately picked up pace and guitar at 3:02 but keeping the pixelly noises (idk what it's called lmao) it sealed the deal for me. Amazing mod that you and the rest of the TBD team created as an addition to an already great mod. DusterBuster also made 11/10 art and visuals for the sprites, and I would make another paragraph for that too lol
@@bobuxerboi9061 the way yuri's appearance and her sprites are shown with her left eye (to me) symbolizes her constantly watching and stalking, along with her mechanic of the eyeball popup is super disturbing but something I just absolutely adore, in first person perspective, each animation looks so detailed and defining a manic but sinister personality, and close to the end she foreshadows her suicide with her holding up her knife to her neck and such, all of it just looks so excruciatingly well-made, but the song itself sticks with me really hard Sayori had some great detail as to how it looked like a direct aftermath of what happened in the main mod before monika showed up, making her seem like the only normal one visually, she basically looks like the drawn version of her living corpse, ig i dont have much to say about her prior to the hard parts, unlike that when it all transitions is really good, bf's design with his shirt logo on his eye instead was pretty interesting, I didn't 100% understand it if there was depth to it, but the changes made to the notes and how it's on a notebook did stick with me instead of it being just normally. Natsuki was really sad for me, it's like most of before but used in one singular song plus some more. The twist and transition was really cool, couldn't stop looking at the deformed cats and broken hearts. When GF died I actually saw more sense in that for bf going batshit insane, the atmosphere as the code was falling apart was my favorite, and at the end when they were all singing in some sense of harmony was kinda bittersweet. I didn't rly wanna go into this too much cuz while it's the best song story-wise I honestly hate it in the good way xd

Something that I’ve noticed about Markov is that unlike Stagnant and Home(both of which start off as something you’d expect to hear in the regular DDTO) it starts off sounding rather unsettling with a dark atmosphere and slow paced notes before Yuri jumps out at you laughing which I admit gave me a pretty bad scare the first time I saw it
