i understand where ur coming from, but many people have different definitions of straight piped. technically speaking, if u get rid of a muffler or resonator, you are straight piping it. my definition is from the cats to the rear is a full straight pipe. we only did a mid muffler delete like u said, but the rears were already cut off.
Sounds good. Ditch the factory fake tips & get some that exit a bit behind the bumper cover. Will sound better inside & out. Best thing I did after cat back exhaust on mine.

Sorry man but these all sound like $hi+ srraight piped. They get to raspy and crackly. You want them to sound good put longtubes and series10s . Loud as foke but sounds good.

Check engine light only for cats. We did a muffler delete. Car already had resonator delete
