This is the first time I’ve seen your channel, I’m absolutely hooked. Iv always painted since I was a child, but in recent years my time has been taken up with making pottery and junk journals. This year I promised myself I’d concentrate on my art and I’m loving it! I just had to wait until it felt the right time if you know what I mean. This has so inspired me, thankyou so much for sharing.😁😁
Thanks for watching June! That’s really good to hear and glad you’ve been able to get back into art🙌🏼🤗
I would love to see more urban sketching please Scottie
👍🏼glad you like it
You are so generous with your talent! Thank you for that 😮
Groovy. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
There are a lot of other channels out there that do Urban Sketching. They are amazing, but a lot of them feel like work or class. When I watch your videos, I only feel pure enjoyment. You make drawing fun, and that's why your channel is unique. Keep up the urban sketching, it's great and I love watching you draw.
Thanks a lot for the support!🤗
Beautiful!
That white line is nicccceeee!!
Omg, It was so much fun watching this Scottie. Really enjoyed the video. There was a smile on my face throughout the video. Thanks
Mesmerizing as always. So fun to watch. What a great channel!
Thanks a lot Sean🙌🏼
great tips, I like the combination of colors.
I am hooked on your channel as well! I love your videos and my style is similar to yours but I'm still trying to develop it further. I'm currently sketching pets in this style using pen, watercolor, and some subtle digital effects. I'm saving up for the watercolors and sketchbook you use. Thanks for the time and effort you put into these videos!
Thanks Susan! Sketching pets this way sounds like fun🙌🏼. All the best with your sketching 😊
I have always been in painting. I always find it hard to start as I'm partial colorblind. Also the fact that all the realistic art styles never really did it for me, the realism in painting seems soo difficult to master. Your style is a gem to me as I take the idea of sketching as doodling. Even with this video, how loose you were , I thought until the end how are you going to look this sketch any good. And here I'm, amazed and motivated. Thank you very much. I'm gonna start sketching from next month when I'm done with my degree. You're an inspiration.
Really cool sketch! Love the expressive line work you used. Glad I found your channel, just subscribed.
Thanks a lot Justin!
Just discovered your channel and was amazed. Love your work and your teaching skills.
Thanks so much Johnel! All the best with your sketching 😊
Thanks Scotie, made me re-think how to sketch.
I'm so happy watching you!!!😅😊
Great sketch!
This is sooo cool! Can’t description how fascinated I am. Gonna join patreon as soon as i get my supplies😎

Inspiring 💜✨
nice work!🤩
Wow, like it😍
this is great, thank you for sharing! loving the narration. I think the photoshop turned out lovely ;)
haha thanks! It took a while to get right😊
Great video. Nice practical tips!
Thanks Brett!
I am trying to focus more on shapes first and it is so helpful ! A very important advice ! I'd love to see how you would tackle the close-up of a smiling face... Maybe a future notification ? :D
👍🏼seeing bigger shapes instead of all the details is a good take away! Different expressions is also a good idea for a video😊
Thanks for pointing out, that without realising it, I already use tip 4 (line work). I'm making greater progress than I thought!
Awesome! It’s such a fun and expressive way to sketch. Keep up the great work👍🏼
Love these loose kinds of sketchers.
i think its a form of differantly art
Thank you for the tips, the are really great! and love your color scheme ❤😊 what palette do you use?
Please make sketch trees, thnks
8:40 does anyone know the song playing in the background?

love it, nice loose style, do you prefer watercolour to Pro markers?
Yes I mostly use watercolour 👍🏼
I’m a beginner to sketching. Do you have any vids for beginners? This one is somewhat intense😁
😊have you tried this one? czcams.com/video/LxD4tWzNLqE/video.html
...so this is basically your summary of Albert Keifer's Domestika course? I found this video after watching your review of his course.
Yes I am using a similar process I learnt from his course but I've used watercolor here instead of markers👍🏼
Are you on social media?
Yes I have instagram if you search for sketching scottie👍🏼
You ever do anything more realistic ? Don't get me wrong I dig your art and your choice in color pallet, just curious if you do more realistic work.
I mostly do quick and loose impressionistic sketches so don't focus on realism👍🏼
What a mess...
I like it.
amazing my friend
🙏🏼 thank you
