Protecting Helen Reef - a pristine marine area of the Hatohobei People in Palau

In December 2020, the small Helen Reef ranger team foiled 28 poachers in a large foreign vessel: Resisting bribes, rangers of the Hatohobei community, trained and equipped by OneReef, apprehended and detained a Chinese vessel poaching at Helen Reef Atoll, a Marine Protected Area.
