I had a doubt regarding upgradation process , if we hold a seat and apply for upgradation , can it happen that we can get the college that was lower on priority list than the first seat?
If you fill that college in your preference of upgradation then it can happen , it happened with my batchmate at our time of counseling

Vahi kisi nai ggs faridkot and then amritsar reservation sai fill kiya but uskai category rank mairsai kmm hai toh kya gmc amritsar pahlai uskai allot hogi as its my 3rd choice and someone 2nd .?

If you've already registered and got your registration no. and password you can fill any college in your choices but it will not confirm your seat only on the basis of your marks rank cutoff and merit you'll get a seat if you're found eligible...
New registrations will begin soon and notification for the same will be available on bfuhs.ac.in in coming weeks .

Actually I am confused between open and bc seat whether my preference order should be 1) gmc patiala for bc 2) gmc for patiala for open 3) gmc amritsar for bc means alternative bc and open.... Under any circumstances you'll have more chances to get a seat in any of gmc's if you go for bc category and you're preference order should be patiala then Amritsar for bc category..as in open category last seat of gmc Amritsar was alotted at 586 ..
