  • Mickie James changed the game in WWE, then she got released and somehow managed to do it again. Now, she’s on Oral Sessions to talk her last WWE run, Vnice McMahon’s message to her after “Trashbag-gate” and ageism in women’s wrestling. Oh, and there’s a country single in there, too.

The fact that Mickie trended on Twitter three times after being fired, shows how popular really is and how much WWE missed an opportunity with creating a great storyline with Mickie !

Mickie is one of the most talented wrestlers I've ever seen, on all fronts. The whole package. It's an absolute travesty how WWE (aka Vince) treated Mickie after her return. The lack of fanfare or a legitimate push was straight up insulting, not to mention the trash bag debacle. What a joke. Women's revolution my ass. God Bless you Mickie for staying strong through it all. I have no doubt Mickie will have success in whatever endeavor she chooses next! We're with you all the way! 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️

I never really got to see MICKIE work in wwe the first time around...saw some of her work in TNA...but damn, this interview makes me a huge fan of hers. It’s good that she got to stand up for everyone, and I’m looking forward to what she does next.

To be fair there's something about Japanese wrestlers that make them just keep on trucking till their wheels fall off. My man Minoru Suzuki and Yuji Nagata are still having high impact matches at 52-53 years old, and that's after decades of getting absolutely pummeled in the ring.

agism is totally a thing, i see it all the time. i dont fuck teenagers because of agism, i hold the door open for the elderly or give up my seat because of agism and go ahead and sprinkle in a lil sexism in there too. yea its a thing. as far as evolution, that ppv was one of the lowest ppv for wwe, women wrestling does not draw. think about it, can u name a sport in which the womens division compete agaisnt the mens in sales? no, mens sports fare far better and hence men they make more money becasue they are worth more money. its simple logic, if evolution was a success, wwe would do it again. but it was failure, so they have not done another evolution. wwe is a business after all.
