is this from the early or late show? I was at the early show and I don't remember Dark Star. They opened with a majestic Morning Dew and closed with Alligator.
opening acts were first, Lighthouse, from Canada, and second, Cold Blood. It was a cold and wet drive in from Long island with the lady who was my date. the line at 179th st. IND token booth was humungously long since the fare was about to go up. Saw some people recognized from college and they let us cut in line with them. Got off at W4 (8th st. entrance) and walked, walked, walked on icy slushy sidewalks over to 2nd ave. & 6th St. We got in just as Cold Blood was finishing their set. I will always remember this Morning Dew, and was so lucky to see them do Alligator.... early show got out between 10 and 11 pm.
Killer version with one of the most legendary jams starting at 18:46.
Good call! That segment you time stamped is on the shortlist for me personally. Just an incredible joyful sound.
nothing better than a dead show ,was here and loved every moment, I remember
What they're doing is so simple, and yet so beautiful! What an amazing piece of music!
Amazing version, one of my favorite Dark Stars, I prefer this one to the way more recognized 2/13/70.
Get in, hold on, and shut up.
Going for a ride!
