Can it wake up by a customizable name, instead of manually pushing the button? I am all in regardless. The upgrading of this technology has infinite possibilities.
No it is a push to talk only. "the R1 uses a push-to-talk button-like a walkie-talkie-to trigger the voice command prompt, there's no wake word, so the R1 doesn't have to constantly listen to you the way most popular voice assistants do. The microphone on the device only activates and records audio when you hit that button."

A lot of these apps are requiring 2FA from the phone. How can it get around that? MS Power Apps is halfway there but not AI
I would think that would be easy, since the device is a phone, it should be able to receive the 2FA code and then be able to react to that to paste that into the 2FA prompt. Assuming the training actually works. Thanks for watching!

You guys need to research what you review, it has a sim it is a phone too. They sold out of batch 1 on the first day 10,000. 7 days later they have sold 40,000+. You can still get it . Educate yourself. Brutal review.
This video was recorded the day after the announcement when they had sold there first 10,000, not now when they are on batch 5+. You are correct about the SIM card and the ability to make calls, going to be putting up something to make sure that is corrected. Thank for watching

Let us know if you get a response, the website indicates March - April 2024 for the first round of pre orders, we got in on the third batch and expect delivery near the end of July. The discord being down isn't a good sign
I was able to get into their discord, I used the discord app on my ipad put the link in and I was in.
