Mr X, I'm not a collector, but you and Gem Mint are the only statue channels I watch. I know there are dozens of them, but yours are the only two I need. You're both very different but you complement each other.

I’m gonna be honest Mr.X this video spoke to me in a lot of way and I’m particularly glad you made it. As someone who’s brand new to CZcams and a channel for statues a lot of what you mentioned was really helpful. I too am experimenting daily with lighting, sound, editing, subject matter, on a daily basis and just finding my style with CZcams. But it’s guys like you and gemint that got me off my ass and making content. You guys are inspiring other people and that rules. I appreciate you wanting to just be better. Hope we can discuss ways to improve our channels some time. Looking forward to more videos like this. Thanks again.

Why I love the channel...I really like the variety of the collection and the rating system. I feel well informed when purchasing a statue by watching the channel. I am seldom surprised or disappointed with my purchase when I get it because of the information the channel provides. I like the speed of posting the videos, when the statue arrives it pretty much is shown within a weeks time. Honestly, I think my favorite part is the commitment shown to improving the channel and delivering an entertaining, informative honest review of a hobby that I truly enjoy. Thanks for all the work, I can’t imagine how you pull it off but I am grateful. Thanks (I have a feeling the channel will get HUGE! ....that’s what she said)
The reason why I love your channel is because I can see you making changes to increase your channel. I am sure you care a lot on the data on each giveaway and all those good stuff to see how much viewers/subs you grab. An entrepreneur mindset ☺️

One of the top things I enjoy about your channel has to be that you give an honest opinion. That and the humor you bring makes the Xtreme Channel one of my favorites. I really have nothing in the hate category. THANKS for that countdown and keep up the GREAT work.

What i like about the Xtreme channel is that i feel that your videos are unique in some way from other statue reviewers..I cant seems to think of a thing that i hate about the channel

There is no way I could even pull off one statue review video...This guy has some brain power...respect
Really wanted to watch this video on my phone when you posted it, but odd things happened. I'm lying down on my couch, relaxing, watching my 2yr old color in her coloring book with one eye, flipping through CZcams videos with my other eye. The wife then calls me to help her for a few seconds, which I get up to help her because she 5'2" tall and cannot reach some areas in the back cupboards because she says being short sucks. I come back to see my daughter still coloring in her coloring book, whereby I comment on what a great artist she is. She smiles, says, "Thank you, Daddy", and continues. I lie back down onto the couch...now where'd my phone go?? I sit up and begin searching for it. (While most parents can agree that if you have kids, once you put something down for a second, the next thing you know you're running around searching for whatever it was that you put down because it either went missing or you forgot where you put it and now you're getting frustrated because you can't find it. We've all been there). However, if you have a family, the next viable choice is to ask your spouse, who then berates you for leaving anything around the house that our child can get ahold of. She was of no help. The next thing I know I'm interrogating my child, but she doesn't understand what I'm saying or thinks I'm playing around. Kids can be cute when they have no clue. So I go on a tear looking for my phone, whereby I thought I had taken it up with me into the kitchen when my wife asked me just a few moments ago to come and help her. Nope.
I quickly retraced my steps, but once again to no avail. I scratch my head, and now I'm second-guessing myself. I then ask my wife to use her phone to call mine in order to see where I inadvertently placed it. She did. Then next thing you know I hear a muffled ringtone coming from the living room where my daughter is coloring. Confused and a bit shocked, I walked back into the living room to see my child sitting there with a big smile on her face. The ringtone was coming from her. I then walked over to my daughter, picked her up, and quickly discovered that my phone was lodged down the back of her diaper. I was like, WTF?!? In the next moment, while she was in my arms, she then put her hands to her eyes, then pulled them away and said, "Peek a boo".
If you have kids, then you should always expect the unexpected.
My daughter and I have begun playing hide and seek and she really loves it, the same with Peek a boo. One thing to note, she's a terrible hider, I can always find her. That said, apparently, when I got up to help my wife, my daughter saw that as an opportune moment to ninja my phone and place it in her diaper. Sneaky kid.
I then put my daughter down, and she began to color in her coloring book once more. As for myself, I lied back down on the couch and opened the CZcams App to watch your video, X.
Odd...I think my daughter farted on my phone. It smells weird.

Love your personality, humor and honesty/transparency that you bring to it. It's never stale around here. Honestly there's nothing I hate! Unless hating that I can't afford this hobby counts...

I like these type of videos - they are interesting. Always great to learn a bit more about a person.
I work in TV shows and advertising commercials, specially in the editing and post production areas, so I can relate of how much time you have to spend behind the computer editing the material, so I want to say congrats for all your effort in putting this content for us, because it's a lot of your private time to make them, and about the technical issues, the video image is good, the audio it isn't bad, it's in good levels it's just the eco, so maybe you can get a lavalier mic to put it in your shirt to avoid the eco in the room, but again it's not bad the way it is.
I had one for a while but it would rub against the shirt causing muffled sounds. Trying to find the best balance. Thanks for the feedback!

Don't know why someone would complaint about the video quality. We can see the statues well, and every detail on then. That's what matters.

Honestly sucks to hear you have trouble with tech. I always wonder on the quality of your picture and audio... wish I could help. I learned a lot about audio and editing through CZcams myself. Trial and error, if you have the time. Anyways love the channel man!
Very good content. People see you though a screen and think they "know" you. Totally understand your frustration with learning to use the equipment. You're not a professional producer but that what people expect smh. I see you got that boom mic. Hope it's helping. Think about the direction of the sound and that microphones have different directional settings also. Keep up the effort we appreciate it.

As far as equipment goes, all's good other than you might need one of them mics that hook up to your sleeve. Video and lighting looks good, audio's a bit echo'ish. Hope this helps in some way.

To be honest I don't know how you and some of the other channels manage to push out daily content around working and family time.

I’m glad you talk about the pros and cons of being a CZcamsr. It basically confirms my theory of “most people suck”.
I would guess one of the worst aspects is the time commitment, uploading, filiming, commenting, editing, etc. And then the expectation or entitlement from viewers. Now ill see if my guess is correct
I love the fact I really feel you are genuine, not a shill, dont sugarcoat, confident to be yourself (bad jokes and all). I dont really hate anything, The only thing I would say to work on is your editing/effect skills. They have gotten better (its 2022 as I comment) but I still think its the thing that is lacking.
Yeah... I've never had the time to not only do it correctly, but even learn.

I agree especially with the people telling you how to display your collection. It's happened to me and I have to remind them they're not the one who spent money on it or has to see it everyday. Not to mention I never asked for their opinion on how it's displayed to begin with.

Something I hate: On some videos you would pan in closer on shots multiple times through the video without there being a real reason to emphasize what's being zoomed in on? I dunno, just don't like when that happens personally.
I was toying with it as it seemed a lot of the HUGE channels did it. I dont think its helping though

I really enjoy your attitude and humor! You make the statue reviews super entertaining. Even if it's a statue review I wouldn't be interested in or know much about, it's just fun to watch. I agree that maybe the audio could be improved a bit, but that will come in time with practice and experience. Thanks for continuing to make great content!

@@TheXtremeChannelMrX I think its because being a YTer starts out fun, then eventually becomes "work." That combined with the typical ungrateful, hateful, one-upmanship attitude of the internet, can burn most people out.
I dont know about you Mr. X, but I have enough stress trying to hustle at work and not screw up, get fired, or worse. I dont need to add keyboard warriors to the mix.

What I hate is that you never tell us the price or your honest opinion on the piece.......HA..just kidding. I love the channel. I like seeing the pieces your opinion on them and getting to see some of them behind you. Keep it up and continue to do what you like. It’s your hobby and your sharing it with us. I get to learn about statue collecting. I collect comics, superhero action figures and used to collect lightsabers

I’m just getting into collecting, was thinking of setting a channel up following my journey from the beginning...don’t think you see that much, everyone’s already established before they have a channel it seems
An intelligent guy once said, Sir you have the right to have your own Opinion but you don‘t have the right for your own facts. I think this relies to some collectors or almost a lot of collectors.
Love the channel, happy I got in early (pre 8k subs I think) - i like your cheesy humour (i.e that's what she said in almost every video - and dont change that btw). A cool video I'd like to see you do would be how do you afford the hobby, what's your occupation and how it all ties together? Keep up the good work, here's to 100k subs 👍🏽😎

If you're doing a review of the black panther on throne proto shouldn't we have seen a nearly complete batman on throne I realize they are more than likely just making sure it is as close to the idea as possible seeing that it is a pretty ambitious project.

LOL....'I don't have time'. Things I love: Seeing stuff I typically wouldn't and getting a detailed review from someone who (I think) really likes statues and collectibles like I do. Things I hate: When there's a video of something I want and I know I can't have!!!!
Fortunately that sort of goes with collecting.
Just a curious question. Have you ever gotten a statue you didn't like and sent it back immediately? If so what statue was it.
Only Two (kindof). Sideshow Lion-O I tried to send back but its when their website crashed so I had to keep it. Then I just sent back that Ultimate Warrior I reviewed.

Things I like about The Xtreme Channel, the stoopid money that you spend on this stuff, your wit and wise-ass cracks, the production quality (I can't believe people complain about it, have they not watched other stuff on CZcams?) Things I dislike, SF5ftw, and when especially is pronounced Xspecially, unless you are doing because of the name of the channel, then move that into the like column.
That guy is super annoying but it's funny how he tries to "burn" us

Hey John, (here 'he' comes), I really appreciate you taking the time to put this stuff together, It gives me insight into collectibles that I will probably never own and in most cases, collectibles that I wouldn't want to own but I still love the reviews and sharing differences of opinion, It would be duller than a dull day in Dullsville if everybody loved the same stuff! The biggest plus is your engaging delivery, I've watched other channels where the presenters are as dull as dishwater and the monotone delivery is excruciating. The biggest minus is the lack of Bowen's 8-) Definitely up there with Gem, Alex/Geo, Jorge/Seth, Mac and Cletus as the most entertaining and informative reviewers. Cheers, 8-)
