    Another bonus with making videos George, makes your job far more entertaining than just tractor driving. Don't fall asleep, you'll go through the hedge lol. Love this time of year with the buds coming out in the hedgerows.

    Correct I if I'm wrong but to set the depth on power harrowing you set the lift arms right down into float so the top link would set your working depth as same as a tedder and rear packer is also setting your working

    Those pressures are fine for the work your currently doing, improves traction and decreases compaction, you only need to run the higher pressures when carrying big loads and/or doing road work.

    prob bit late now Georgie boy but anyway , when you set the power harrow up , you set the crumbler for the depth & you set the top link to put the mash level , then when you drop er down theres no weight on the bottom links , there only there to pull the mash along , ok not a lot of people know this , Ed Rowe does !!!! good vidjos georgie boy

    Id just like to say George I like the way you work, you take time setting the implements up and it pays off later in the day. With the ab line on ours you can hit the b button after not many meters and set it very quickly, Then follow. Glad to see the fastrac is still on the cards mate, put in the hours and it may come. All the best gaz👍

    I live in Canada and we keep our rear tire pressure at 16 psi and we drop it to 8 psi for the duals. Comparing to the from in our area the experts recommend that the fronts are fill twice as much as the rear so they are alway at 32 psi.

  • @thecrazymanfromireland

  • @jasonrowe268

    You can always overlap abit and shift the line to centre. Next pass will still be beside the last.

    George I'm fairly sure you only have to drive 15m for the GreenStar GPS to register the new A-B line. Not sure you need to be driving from one end of the field to the other..

    I take it you use the "down time while the positioning system does the work " to read the user manuals ? Kidding, but a lot of this seems like overkill to me ! OTOH, black in the Sixties I ran a fuel cell powered Allis Chalmers that sported an automated row guide system for cultivating ear corn ! In that instance the operator had to position the unit on the row before engaging.

    • @clodbustermx170
      @clodbustermx170 Před 7 lety

      Muddy Springs yes , there is a contractor nearby that combines a lot of maize and crimps it to sell for cattle feed. It's combined late October November which makes it interesting in wet conditions here in England but contractor is so laid back and the job gets done 🚜💨👍🏻
