After looking at some of these vehicles I intend to increase the speed with with I restore my '49 Packard Ultramatic. They do not even make a new car I want to own. I want an automobile, not a smart phone on wheels. I liked the last one the best. Properly adjusted I bet I could get it up to 100 MPH with very little effort. Bigger, heavier wheels and four brakes.

Bad News for all fans of self-driving vehicles: Current death rate for human driven vehicles: one death per 100,000,000 miles. Current death rate for self driven vehicles: one death per 100,000 miles. Look at those numbers carefully. Self-driving cars have a death rate 1,000 times as great as human driven cars. Do you STILL want one?
I had the idea of a self driving railroad car. Either you drive your car or even an rv onto it and it takes you where you want to go. Or even a motel room. The train ride is your vacation. One step further and you have turn outs at different locations where you spend your vacation, such as in the mountains. At the end of your time the rr car takes you back to the starting location. Everybody gets to enjoy the scenery and no drunk or sleeping accidents.
I don't know how practical or likely some of these things are, but it's very interesting to be able to see them in video clips. Something I'll never understand though, is why some people are obsessed with something other than a round steering wheel. Why??? A perfectly round wheel is the safest and easiest way to drive a car. Remember when Dodge / Chrysler / Plymouth tried using square - ish steering wheels in their cars,,, maybe late 50's, early 60's. There is a DAM good reason why they didn't catch on and why we don't have odd shaped steering wheels now so to go back and make the same mistake again would be plain stupid. History has given us an example of why not to do this, and if we ignore history, we'll just make the same dumb mistake over and over again. So car designers, maybe it's a good idea to not only know where we're going, but also where we've come from.
Some of these i didn't know exist and almost all the rest I have known for years or months that they where around, example the 2 person train wow first introduced in 2015 as a test
oh and the truck the truck is not specifically designed the hall blades the trailer is specifically designed to haul blades and I'm pretty sure you can also haul beams for bridges on them too

the problem with all of these electric vehicles is none of them have the range a gas or diesel engine has. yes you hear range of 300 miles, 400 miles, 1300 miles. but that is not putting any kind of stress on the vehicle more than 1-2 people. these cars are never going to be used for family vacations because no matter what they say, it takes from 4 to 8 hours to fully recharge a electric battery and about 5 to 10 minutes to refill your car.
Am I the only one who doesn't like that everything futuristic looks shiny or reflective, and why is everything black, blue, white, and grey. Also what happened to details or features. It seems everything futuristic lacks detail or characteristics.
China's got most of our jobs now, automation will get the rest sooner or later. Personally, I'm looking forward to the future where robots do everything and we do whatever we want. If the robots take our jobs, then they also take our salaries. Since robots don't need money, we'll take it from them and use it ourselves.
