This technique does work on MOBILE VERSIONS of Wreckfest. But DON'T EXPECT GOLD. With perseverance it is possible to make the cut for some Fame. It is not simple, but 10,000 Fame (Bronze) can be had with this method. You're video is right about truck Tuning, with possibly one notch of higher Gearing and Braking set middle to forward. Backing up does help (waiting can work). Letting the 1st and a 2nd vehicle go is essential. Then it is all down to skill of keeping the "multiplier" up with frequent collisions.
I watched a different guy that didn't back up at the beginning of the race. He said follow this path and don't try to hit them just follow the path. He didn't say leave the first car either. He said go hell for leather but it didn't really look like he was. He didn't talk about tuning the truck either. This guy still got gold. I tried it his was and nothing changed for me. So far your method has gotten me the closest to bronze, but funny enough I always would back up at the start of the race aswell. But even leaving the first car or weven first two or three cars, I just can't keep yhe multiplier going. There I always run out of targets to hit in time. It's really F ckig pissing me off. I haven't felt like smashing my controller in years.
I find that it's crucial to just skip the first car and then hit all of the remaining cars in the first wave which will leave you with an 8.5 mult at the first corner and then you will get to the lead car you initially let go by the time you get to the structure over the track and then you will be into the 2nd wave. Getting the initial multiplier to 8.0 or higher before the first corner is what I found to be the key. Great tutorial and I couldn't even imagine I would be able to get bronze as I had tried so many times ands not gotten even close-ish.
I don't normally like and subscribe, but I did for this. I one shot this shit after watching yer vid. I couldn't even get above 47k my first 30 attempts. Also, LITERALLY SKIPPING a FEW cars ONCE in a while when they are gappy it works WONDERS for having the multiplier not drop off. Going backwards at start was so flipping key as well, giving them time to spawn is so important. It, causes the them to spawn in conga lines, NAILING AT LEAST ONE PER 2 SECONDS IS KEY.

It's been a while, but I think it is just unlocked on its own. Maybe you might need to play a couple races in the story mode, but I didn't think tournament was locked from the start.
@@JervGames I have not completed the career mode. I've barely played a few events in it. I'm not sure why you're having trouble accessing it. I'm currently out of town, but I'll check a few things in a couple days when I get back.

I pulled off to the side and let half the field through so i wouldnt get any gaps in traffic and kept the streak going
I found that the streak stays pretty low after first lap this way. But I'm glad it worked out for you.
I’ve beaten it before with your method now the tournament mode came up again and I can’t even get halfway to bronze just weird
