- The sun's finally out on day 3 of our 4-day long weekend to Europe! Join us as we leave the Black Forest and discover some even more amazing roads as we head northwest to Trier. We dip in and out of France until we happen upon some epic sweepers, stunning valleys and delicious castles near Kaiserslautern. I've never explored this corner of Germany before, and it's now firmly on my list of places to re-visit. Thanks for watching!

Public information film 🤓 When tired, drive / ride SO fast, you’re constantly scared witless and out of danger from micro sleeps 👍🏻
Enjoyed the ramble Tim 😃
I live to share such nuggets of life-enhancing wisdom
Some nice country man ! Just found your channel, I'm happy to support you and other fellow motovloggers. Best of luck with your efforts, I look forward to seeing more from you. Take care and ride safe out there 💯💯👍👍
Thanks! Really appreciate the comment
Great video once again Tim, bloody hilarious!! :D Your "stream of conciousness" game gets even stronger in this one!! :D Looking forward to the last day one. Again, glad to find someone else that gets as excitable about riding the back roads of Europe, as I do on my bike!!! :D
Thanks Matt!
You're really changing my thoughts on my journeys to the old continent. I think i need to see this part of the world.
Germany really must be one of the most underrated places to ride your motorbike in Europe!
@@mattmutane5502 I'll have to source a bike as well.
Beautiful scenery, entertaining and humorous narration, and a certain amount of ADHD….”look at the horns on that one!” 😆. Almost as good as the “chapter notes” at the bottom of the video for each rambling section of narration. Had me laughing all the way through 😆😆😆👍!
Thanks Dan - really appreciate that (and I'm *so* glad someone reads the chapter notes haha!). Life's too full of misery - I try to bring a bit of happiness. Usually.
Really enjoyed the videos and good to meet you on Saturday at Newlands
Only just saw this! Good to meet you too the other year!
Thanks for sharing, we always have our first & last nights of our tours in Trier 😀😃
Next time you go try to get a space at Burgeramt - an amazing burger restaurant that's properly good. burgeramt-trier.de/
@@timrodierides We usually stay at the Mercure Porta Nigra Hotel, will try the Burgeramt the next time we are there 😁😁 Cheers
@@timrodierides Love a good burger - adding it to the list!!! :D
That red squirrel really was cute 😋😋 We also travel like you, enjoying the roads and mountain views fast! Aren't all KTM riders like that?🤣🤣🤣🤣
If I slow down it'll probably break 😂
@@timrodierides That's a risk we all KTM riders take! 🤣🤣 So we ride fast to get home fast! 🤣🤣
Hi Tim. Great set of videos. I wonder if you would publish the route? Seems like a bloody good ride.
You know, sometimes, silence is golden!
Why are you watching CZcams videos then?
For your Christmas/end of year highlights reel, can you just do a compilation vid of all your German ramblings? Definitely going to have to get myself over to der schwarzwald at some point, looks mega
I’ll be releasing an album auf Deutsch
Great video Tim very entertaining do you think you could attach the GPX file so that we can try this route. Keep the videos coming 👍👍
The tall vines are hops.
So called because you have to hop to reach them, one presumes
HAHAHHA 15:55 'not too far right, they dont like that anymore in this part of the world'
Holy crap I stood on that very balcony at pension willliams Tim! Same room 😂
Were those your pants behind the radiator?!
@@timrodierides haha nope 😂😂
Very nice. Do you publish the routes anywhere?
Hey, thanks for all the follows! Unfortunately not - I was using routes that had been put together by a kind internet man - he's spent years making them and perfecting them and didn't want me to share them, which is fair enough! I've put in enough mentions of road names and towns through the videos so you can piece most of it together... I think.
Nice one ..hard to tell if you enjoyed it or not 😂
I often wonder if I need to turn up the enthusiasm 😂
Hi Tim - Great video. Quick question regarding refuelling along the B roads. I’m planning a trip on my bike this June and the fuel tank is quite small (12-13 ltrs). As such need to refuel every 90-100 miles. Are there enough petrol stations along the B roads without throwing me in a frenzy or a scarcity?
Oh you'll be absolutely fine. You only need to be a bit careful if you end up heading up some of the more remote mountain passes in the alps. I tend to fill up every 100 miles regardless. Enjoy!
@@timrodierides thank you 🙏🏼
Appreciating the Fallout 3 reference - hope you didn't drink too much irradiated water...
I stuck to the Nuka Cola. They pay for themselves!
ha ha I've stayed there aswell..
I read about it yeeeears ago on the PistonHeads forums I think but never actually stayed there until now. Great value!
Lol...from an American to an Englishmen, are you moking us American's and our isms...
Mocking*
@@timrodierides thx didn't proof read
Hi Tim I font know if you understand who Jesus is when you use His name like that!!! You are basically blaspheming by speaking the name of the Lord like you do.
Jesus is a the one who died on the cross of Calverley for all mankind to take away the sins of the world.
So when you use the name of Jesus in vain again realise that we wouldn't be here if Jesus didn't come and take away all of our sins away.
God bless you keep safe behind the bars.
