2012 - The Bigger Picture Campaign - "Health Justice Manifesto"

Youth Speaks and UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations are leading the campaign against Type 2 Diabetes with our new project, The Bigger Picture.
In this piece, written by Jade Cho, a collection of our Bigger Picture poets collectively provide the mission statement for the Bigger Picture: to inspire young people to challenge and name the institutional, environmental and social causes of Type 2 Diabetes. It's our hope that by raising our voice, taking action and joining the conversation, we will inevitably alter the trajectory of the disease.
