I love how Pogo incorporates soundbites from a lot of his older tracks into his new music, but it still manages to be fresh and beautiful. I would know that sound anywhere, Sound Of Music was the first VHS we owned when I was tiny, so I know it by heart and I picked our so many gems here from it - the kids singing from "The Hills Are Alive" and the nuns singing from "Problem With Maria" - but there are also clips form Robin Hood! the turtle kid and Prince John. That was the first Disney movie we had on tape when I was tiny - I now it by heart, too. Thanks for the challenge - I sit with my eyes closed and try to "see" the clips origins - I was so stoked when I realized there was a part of your Upular video I was "seeing" too! I listened to Pogo religiously when I was going through my breakup a few years ago. And you know how music has the ability to take you back? It’s crazy how back then, I felt sadness and anxiety going through that, using Pogos music to help my anxiety. But now, I listen to his music again and I feel peace. I can’t help but really let out a sigh of relief to know that I overcame something that seemed impossible at the time. Anyways, thanks Pogo for helping me get through tough times 🥰 I’m happily married now with 2 fur babies and can’t be happier 🥰
