Anyone noticed that the blade is not angled, so that the soil collected into the blade is not been removed as it moves on. Stupid ass settings on the machine. That is why the wheels spin.... !!!
Hmmm, I wonder what a K-tec is? Think I seen my brothers pulling Cat 80 scrapers with old 14a D8s back in the seventies! Think the was invented back in forties or fifties!
Seeing the amount of slip, I wonder if Goodyear's big boy LSW tires are gonna catch on in construction. They're supposed to work pretty damn effectively at putting more power to the ground(Goodyear's promo footage says that they're better than tracks, but I would be honestly surprised in the real world) and doing so without wheelhop.
Bet the tire cost with them there spinning tired add up 8 tires compared to just renting or buying a D6or7 track machine hey I guess if you got money to waste then the waste of old tires that's great for the environment tracks can be recycled melted down and build something else steel beams or even new track pads

real fair comparision, a D8 weights twice what a 9400 does and costs more than twice as much

this design takes weight of the rear weels when the tractor is pulling making it spin. not good.

umm an old international td18dozer with an oversized blade or a blade for the front of the tractor works much better. so I wouldn't get it
