For JSN, getting that level of production is not horrible considering he was competing for targets with Lockett and Metcalf.
i think he acknowledged that. the issue is both those dudes are still there

Addison is awesome
as much as i love Addison i could definitely see him having a down year with either Darnold or a rookie QB in McCarthy. He might be a little more effective before hock comes back though
Addison was great last season in the stretch I used him with no QB to speak of throwing to him for 75% of the season. How could even a Darnold on the best team he's ever been on be worse than that cluster f**k?
I think (imo) that you're underestimating how Addison will benefit with a full season of Jefferson being double teamed. The Vikings can "scheme" all they want, shit breaks down often on the Vikings historically. With a Hockenson kinda banged up and JJ scaring everyone into over committing, I think Addison is a great WR 3/4. I dont think either QB is quantifiable yet, so being worried about an Addison pick so late in the draft (he will also be dropping most likely as time goes) seems a bit odd to me.
QJ is so bad. There’s something about TCU WRs and just not doing good in the NFL.
I agree. I call it helmet scouting. I hate to do it but it seems to be real. I also don’t like usc quarterbacks. I think Williams will bust hard.
I think that JSN would be a top 30 wide receiver if Metcalf or Lockett went down with injury. He's too talented to be ignored, but opportunity is fantasy gold.
What round are you drafting him?

I just traded away Jordan Addison/QJ/2026 1st for Mike Evans 2025 1st and 2025 2nd.
I agree with most takes, but avoid Quentin Johnson.?. He's available in the 11th/12th rounds.?. I'll buy that lotto ticket. One bad rookie year doesn't erase the immense potential for Herbert's #1 Wr.... who's only competition is a rookie Wr. Chargers don't even have a good TE option.
Tyler Lockett is going to be 32 years old this year. I don't expect him to stay healthy the whole year and I don't expect him to cap JSN's ceiling.
He’s only missed one game in his 9 year career though

I think Harbaugh will find a way to develop him the right way. He has first hand experience playing against him, he'll turn it around.
JJM is better than Cousins.
Vikings early schedule is brutal though. After Giants in week 1 they play 6 straight against 2023 playoff teams. If Darnold is starting, Vikings start 0-7.
Draft position of JSN is worth a flyer in like the last round. I’d still take Butker😅
Disagree on QJ. People knew he needed time to develop and was thrown into a situation he wasn’t ready for. New coach/culture will bring him confidence.

McCarthy isn't going to be the starter this year. Darnold will keep the Vikings competitive for now.
