John Truby once said that reacting to a 16 minute video with 2 minutes of comments is highly antagonistic. It reminds me of the dichotomy between SpongeBob and Squidward in the episode Dying for Pie.

Believe it or not, squidward is based off of Stanz and his movie reviews, spongebob is based off the fun loving Atrioc, and plankton is based off of the evil capitalist Ludwig. Very deep I must say

This dude's video sounds so much like an highschool english essay. The overuse of Big Powerful Nouns, the reliance on basically a single source, the constant restating of your argument in multiple "topic sentences", and drawing stupid conclusions from no evidence. Its giving me PTSD, and I applaud it.
He is trying to make an argument from nothing, so I definitely commend him for somehow lengthening this to 20 minutes lol

This guy was definitely reminding me of my own highschool essays.
Starting to understand why Atrioc failed to get a degree as prestigious as Ludwig’s English degree. He is clearly incapable of reading between the lines and seeing the deeper meanings in masterpieces such as Spongebob.
Many might say that Atrioc's antagonistic force really showed its true colours here.

That essay is probably the funniest video I’ve ever seen, his tone stays the same when talking about how squidward is a homophobic hitler and showing a clip of the crying sweater for 9 times
The way it conceals its true nature for so long is so fucking good, genuinely great parody
This is my favorite Atrioc video. This is one of the few times that the reaction enhances and complements the video. The antagonistic force of the author of this video essay challenges Big As ideology in a masterful way.

The slow descent into madness Big A showed was masterful. Like in the book John Truby wrote. How an antagonist has been pushed to their limits and has been broken. Only to be reborn again through the destruction that befalls them.

It’s so embarrassing to admit I’ve rewatched this video so many times I can basically quote some parts
I went through 4 stages in this video. First, thinking that it was just a review of a sponge bob theory. Then, being annoyed about this video and kind of getting in on the joke. Third, realizing it was satire and laughing along, but part of me still questioned if it was legit. Then 2 seconds later I know and I am dying of laughter. Funniest thing I’ve seen all year

It took me just as long as Big A to figure out the true nature of the video. I absolutely lost it at the Breaking Bad section

Atrioc is this the first time you’ve seen film be broken down? I had to take a whole semester doing this for like 10 different kids shows. There’s always deeper shit the writers are thinking, had to do some interviews about it
The whole time Big A repeats “It’s just Spongebob!” Makes me think of literally so many shows that started as simple animation to soon develop insane lore, depressing tones, underlying B plots that plant seeds for the stories true nature to present itself.
I could name so many, but I’ll leave it to commenters to present their own picks for shows and their reasons for when shows shifted story telling gears and going more dark/realist.

First time in a while I've actually laughed out loud at a video, this reaction is a masterpiece. Also Atrioc saw an out when bold and brash was on screen and took that out fucking instantly lmfaooo

A lot like another character from an animated tv show, the mad genius himself Mr. Rick Sanchez from the hit TV show, “Rick and Marty.” Now this is because believe it or not, they are the same character. Notice the color scheme. Squidward and Rick are both light blue, while spongebob and morty are both yellow and brown. Notice how squidward and Rick are both pessimistic and grumpy. Notice how big squidward’s head is, clearly the right size to hold an intellect as massive as Rick’s. According to an age-old English idiom, “if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it’s a duck,” or, as I say, “if it looks like a squidward and acts like a squidward, then it’s a squidward,” and in addition to the principle of Occam’s razor, clearly Rick is a continuation of the squidward character, or squidward is a form he turned himself into, much like he did with the funny brine cucumber.
This essay was like that cool film theory that you wrote down for class, only for that theory to make absolutely no sense.
