- The latest EICMA, Intermot and other motor shows in Europe, Asia and the United States have reassured us in the manufacturers' dedication towards electrification. More and more progressive new companies, as well as legacy manufacturers such as Japan's Kawasaki, are looking into ways of development and further production of motorcycles with zero emission powertrains.
In one of our recent videos we have taken time to review the latest e-scooter models that were exhibited at the motorshow floors in Milan and other less popular events. This video presentation can be found here: • Top 7 All-Electric Sea...
Please note that our channel regularly covers all news dedicated to electric two-wheelers and personal mobility transport, so all reports on this topic are listed here: • Electric motorcycles, ...
In today's presentation, instead of scooters, we decided to talk about the other type of two-wheelers that excite riders all over the globe - electric motorcycles. Milan Motorshow had no shortage of e-bike debuts, as well as news about models that were being prepared to go past the conceptual stage and into mass production as early as 2023.
When making this overview we decided to talk about all available technical specifications, exterior design peculiarities as well as the tech that moves these vehicles forward.
Most of these are employing the already familiar battery-electric powertrain that relies on compact e-motors and lithium-ion batteries that employ smart electronics and controllers in order to give you the longest range per charge.
However, besides this EV technology, we also witnessed the presentation of Kawasaki's first low-emission lineup: it will feature not only motorcycles juiced by batteries but also hybrids and hydrogen-powered bikes.

More about electric motorcycles, scooters and e-bikes:
This year's Milan motorshow as well as other motorcycle exhibitions had no shortage of ebike news and new model debuts. Do you find these newcomers exciting enough to switch to battery-powered two-wheelers? Share your thoughts below!
Who these days can afford these bloody stupid prices. Some of these machines aren't worth half of what they're asking for them, if that. Even used the prices are way too much. If the manufacturers want mass adoption of this tech, they're gonna have to find a way of making them affordable to all of us and not just rich people.
I like the LORA, the top spec one is perfect for range and speed.
