using a gravity assist off of tylo is a very efficent way of getting a jool capture if you are low on deltaV, i'd recommend it highly
...he put wheels on his rocket...you think gravity assists are really on the cards, here??

No he had it on UT (Universal time) which means there were 64 days since he started the campaign! You have to put it on MET (Mission Elapsed Time) to see how long the mission has been going for.

Just watched a GrayStillPlays vid of 18 wheelers on ramps and mow an Intern vid sending a "truck" into space. What is it with trucks today? RCE was the odd one out, he went and played with boats like a silly engineer.
It helps so much you show exactly what you're doing because I'm actually learning how to do stuff
And to think only 3 weeks ago you were trying to launch by going straight up rather than getting into orbit first. The youtube comments bullied you into learning lol. I think you are doing a good job. I've never seen this moon before in KSP 2, and that was a really cool flyby.

I'd love to see you do a mission to land on another planet, Drive around and set up a base there, then send a second mission to pick up the crew of the first mission and return them home to Kerbal.

There are literally landing legs, yet you use plane wheels. FOR A ROCKET

1. Please, do a stronger gravity turn at 10 000 you are already supposed to be turned
2. burn closer to the apoapsis by facing more down or lowering throttle when the apoapsis is getting away
3. When going interplanetary first only burn so the trajectory is close to the planet you want to go to and then do a mid course correction burn by using radial and "normal" directions near the middle of the way there(exact spot doesnt matter because it wont change the trajectory much)
4. You can maybe (it was a thing in ksp1) lower max throttle of an engine to like 2% so when you also only throttle up to 2% its actually 0.04% of the max 100%
His rocket was way too unstable to do a gravity turn at 10,000m.

@@Window_ig it's more the center of mass and lack of stabilizing fins. Struts don't work very well in this game; in ksp1 you could strut the top stage down to the boosters, but now stuff like that doesn't usually work. 🤷♂️

He planned to, but had to use up too much fuel getting there. He didn't have enough remaining to slow his descent, so he would have just crashed into the moon and exploded.

Can someone explain prograde, retrograde and delta v I don’t get what he’s talking about
Prograde is just the direction you are already going in, retrograde is the opposite. Say you are in a car for example: if you look in front of you, you are facing prograde, and if you were to look behind you you would be facing retrograde.
DeltaV is a measure of how much you can change your speed with the fuel you have onboard. If a satellite is moving at a speed of say 10m/s (relative to Earth), and it had a dV of 50m/s, it could reach a speed of 60m/s by burning all its fuel prograde (or -40m/s by turning around and burning retrograde)

Yeah, umm, escape velocity of the sun is roughly 600 KILOMETERS per second, or 15 times the speed of that part. Just like how the speed of light is so big it becomes logarithmic.

I really don't get these soi circles ksp1 was absolutely fine and these take up masses of screen realestate
It’s nice to see where they are when you are orbiting a planet like Jool tho, in KSP1 you’d have to timewarp to see if you accidentally entered a moon’s SOI, but in KSP2 you can just check if your orbit intersects the path of the SOI. I’m less of a fan of the circles that pop up when you get an encounter, those are obnoxiously large
