We made a small mistake: EU and Europe are different. That means Article 13 will only have a direct impact on the countries that are part of the European Union, not every country in Europe.
Here's a list of all member states of the EU:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK (at least for now)
Update: Article 13 has just been passed on March 26, but CZcams has not yet released an official article about it. If nothing changes, it should take effect in 2021 in Europe. More updates to come!

i am from Malta and if article 13 does go through all countries in the EU would suffer cause EU has basically everyone using the internet we wouldn't have enough content to watch and also CZcams (as i do not trust CZcams) would have to sensor out content that even has a tiny bit of copyright would get blocked out of the countries in the EU and CZcams being what it is right now i just have a feeling that it might block more content then needed thus hurting everyone with internet access #Saveyourinternet

Em, article 13 has ALREADY been passed. What they are currently debating over isn't exactly the article itself, but how it is worded. What is currently wrong with the wording is that it is so vague that it dictates ALL forms of media are under its influence, and YT and all platforms MUST help in preventing copyright misusage. Basically, there is nothing we can do about the bill passing. This issue needs to be looked at from another angle.

@@sleepy292 No, they have not finalised the exact wording yet. The way a bill is passed is that first, a motion is put through. Then the motion will be added to and changed (amendments) until a majority agrees on it. Only then will the bill be in effect. They are still making amendments.

Edit: it's also not being enforced yet, like he said in the video, it might take up to two years.
