- First and foremost, hello! I hope you’re having a great day and don’t forget to smile 😃. This video showcases the cards I picked up while I was setting up as a dealer during the Xenia Card Show in Ohio. I haven't setup at this show in a couple of years and was excited to get back. I was slightly disappointed in the lack of commitment from other dealers, packing up early and no shows. Enjoy this recap of everything I bought or traded for while at the show!

If you feel comfortable disclosing, what did you pay for the Kobe Fusion? Amazing card. I'd like to pick up a Platinum Portraits one day.
I don’t mind disclosing for this one, $2,710. Going to grade through PSA and see what I can. My guess is anywhere between a PSA 6-8
@@trading_card_brothers A card that rare and in high demand, most are 10K plus after grading. Great find! Good luck on the grade.
Thank you! Was fun to find. Excited to see what the grade comes back as.
Do you think Brady rookies are a good time to buy, considering the market has cooled off?
Not sure, I don’t really speculate on if it’s a good time to buy a certain card or not. Sorry!
@@trading_card_brothers no worries, It just seems like the market is down, which I think it’s probably a better time to find a deal. I’m definitely on the hunt.
@@thelasvegaskid he is down in value for sure! I just don’t like to make an opinion on value and accidentally influence anyone to make a purchase or sale. That’s why I’m not really giving an answer
@@trading_card_brothers for sure, I’m just seeing other perspectives. Have a good one.
How do you fund a massive pickup like the Kobe? Are you able to buy sell and use profits? Or do you have a main job that you dip into to buy a large card? Sort of a basic question, just curious how you go about it. Thanks
Trading cards is a full time income for me, I'm buying, selling and trading 24/7, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Just roll one sale into another purchase. I used to do it as a side hustle and built up my inventory without having to pull anything out for a couple years while working a different full time job, quit and started this full time 3-4 years ago. Hope that helps!
@@trading_card_brothers That's really cool that you can do cards full time! My biggest issue, is that I'll have cards I put 100- 300 into, grade, and won't be able to sell for a profit. Basically a lack of liquidity in cards. Even rare stuff, like Topps Treasury Lebron /50 just sits. Offering it for a grand, when I put $550 into it. That just being one example. Hard to figure out what cards are liquid. Plus eBay fees and grading fees eating into any profit.
@@SyverRundhaug I’m constantly scrolling social medias to see what people are selling/what sits. Also just going to shows and seeing what people are asking for/sells well and you continue to buy more of that. I try to take in as much information as possible every day. Don’t be afraid to sell things for a loss and learn from that!
