I think one of the biggest tips for droning that EVERY rank tier needs to hear and understand is stop getting your drones killed unnecessarily. If the OBJ has been found, there isn't a big real reason for 4 other drones to try and get in the site. Save your drones.
Second big tip is if you're alive with dead teammates, throw a drone out so the dead teammate can watch the drone for you. Free intel, less pressure on the remaining alive players.
I think I'm a very good player but if there is one thing I know I need to work on, its droning. I don't drone enough, mostly bc I don't think I have time with how often I get games where my teammates die fast. So often I'll do a quick drone myself in, park the drone in a flank spot, then face check for quick map control. But I know I can do better at just droning in general. Honestly, if my game sense and general knowledge wasn't as good as it is, my lack of droning would get me killed way more.

I used to do it, too much droning and then seeing the way I want to push is clear. Then got killed by their roamer coz I droned too far from the entry point without knowing their roamer is there 😂
