I’ve seen international students from different master programs do it, but I’d say it depends on your own personality & the city where you live in. If you choose to live in a smaller city you may have less struggles & be able to invest more time on your courses. On the other hand job opportunities are kindda limited in smaller cities. It’s not an easy decision to make & I think you’ll find better answers if you talk to students of your major. Good luck 😊

Usually you get legal problems over 20 hours per week as you are no longer considered full-time working. Also might have restrictions with the visa.

German language is hard to learn as more you progress the harder it gets. The people can be cold and racist to foreigners, there are not many activities to do as a student, the campus life is not that interesting as they can be quite introverted and awkward. I don’t know. I expected too much from Germany before coming here to study I guess. I was warned I wouldn’t make German friends by social media, but as an extrovert, I thought that would be no issue but after 2 years I have no German friends and all my friends/roommates at a student dorm are foreigners. Sometimes I wish I would’ve gone to the Amsterdam/Oslo/Vienna to do my master’s! I’ve traveled there and people are much friendlier, warm, and have no issue speaking English themselves there.
