Hey guys! 👋
Remember to put your guess of the market value of this property (once renovations are complete) for a chance to win 250 pounds! 😶
See you in the next video!!! 😅
Couple of tips guy's. Get some joining compound for compression fittings don't use PTFE tape. Break the tile on the edge not the middle. Use a 10 or 12mm tile trowel and back butter the tiles as there large format. You will have to redo the floor as they will soon break. Keep up the good work from a bathroom specialist 👍
Hi mate, appreciate the heads up on all the above. Think we realised about the tiles at the end of breaking about a packs worth… all a learning curve though isn’t it! Will definitely take this tips on board and bring them into the next episode!! 👍🏻👋🏻

@@NickyandHarri here's a plumber parts video for tiling hope it helps 😊
Taking off the drawer fronts, ditching the drawer and re attaching the fronts with clips would have been better 😊
I can't believe how much you've done since the last video. From 0:53 I knew immediately that my girl was exhausted! Glad you both managed to get some R&R and lovely walks. It looks so beautiful in that area. Granny knows it well! Lots of love to you both. xx ❤❤
She’s been working so hard, and at least this weekend we get a bit of a well deserved rest! I didn’t know Lucien Lena this area, how funny! Lots of love 🙂♥️
Guys give yourself a break , your doing brilliantly but don’t kill yourselves need some time for you 👍🥂🥰
Thanks Yvonne, we actually did manage to give ourselves a restful weekend in the sun, so feeling refreshed and ready to go for another new week! Think we’re excited to show you our exact plans for the bathroom so are pushing ourselves!! See you in the next one! 🙌🏻👋🏻
Your kitchen looks unreal you should be very proud, I prefer the baton and board style panelling, I think it’s more country and in style with the rest of the house xx
Love your energy.
I did the same with adding a bathroom and at the point of sale got asked for the building regulations certificate. It should have been approved by building control and the drain had to be checked and have an inspection chamber fitted.
I think building regs cover new partition walls and bathroom extaction
Hi Martin, ooo, now you’ve thrown us a curve ball! So.. we do have a private building inspector who is signing off all the work on the property (have already had a chat with him about extraction and drainage etc), however he’s never mentioned having a inspection chamber fitted to the waste- will have to do my research on this one! Appreciate the heads up! 👍🏻
I've known people do such changes without inspection but that relies on the buyer and buyers solicitor not realising the changes have been made. On the sellers information form your supposed declare building work. Some declare no and hope to get away with it. You can be sued for lying on a form although it's a fuss to do so. My neighbours won £20k plus costs because the seller lied on the form about neighbour disputes.
I don't like to mention these things because it sounds like a moan. In my case, I had developed the house, was in the process of selling and suddenly had to dig up the waste for my inspection chamber before the sale could complete.
It's all coming together!
Don't be too down hearted that you've not finished the bathroom - looking good though!
Cheers Karl, feels like it’s dragging on for ages- but now we’re finally getting there!
Hi, plastering badly is easy 🤪, a good plasterer is worth the money. Did you insulate between the studs to help with sound proofing?
So impressed with all the work you do yourselves like the plasterboard & tiling! It's look great! Are you gonna have an extractor fan in bathroom as it has no window?
Thanks Emma, you’re too kind, always a treat when we see your name in the comments! Exactly, has to be an extractor for the bathroom!!! 🙌🏻🙂
Not going to lie but i think this is best videos i watched in my life, So well done on the great work your doing Keep it up 👍
Awh, really appreciate that comment, made our day! We’ll keep on that grind! 🙂👋🏻
You guys are insane!! Looking so good, that bathroom will be so beaut when finished and you’ve taken time to do it all properly too 😊 was lovely to come and help you guys even if for only a few days, see you both soon ❤ oh we’re thinking 315k this week, dunno why 😂
Awww, so much Love guys!! Was so nice to see you both and we can’t wait to come and visit you both soon! Big love 🥰🙌🏻😅
loving this dedication, just remember a breather! top stuff as usual
Cheers Clay, we definitely struggle with slowing our pace down, but it’s something we’ve got to work on, as our bodies are knackered atm! 🤞🏻
Nice progress.
BTW (for future tiling) you don’t use the tile cutter like that. Make one good score across the tile, and then push the clamp down at one side of the tile, not in the middle, and all should be fine.
Appreciate it Lee, we realised (obviously a bit late after breaking a whole pack) 🤣. Will show you our new found skills in the next episode! 😉
Amazing work guys! Loving the series! Rooting for you🎉 market value when you finish: 340k
Nice work
Love you guys, your enthusiasm is a joy to watch. Looking forward to the finished product. 😎
Cheers Karl, our enthusiasm for renovations really helps push us through the exhausting days! See you in the next one!! 👋🏻😊
Good progress on the bathroom guys, for future reference when cutting tiles when you've scribed the tile press down on the edge of the tile not the middle also back butter your tiles other then that awesome work look forward to the next video
Appreciate that Ian, appreciate the advice, someone else has just mentioned the 2 exact same tips- both must know what you’re on about! See you in the next one! 🙌🏻🙂
Everytime I watch your videos I want to start redecorating our house 😂
Spent the beautiful weekend supervising my husband putting up a gazebo in our garden and creating his own water feature. I would say I helped, but that would be a lie 😂😂 I’m guessing £320k this week. Can’t wait to see the bathroom finished! Looks like you are really making the most of the space you have xxx
Ah sorry we didn’t see this comment earlier Alison!! Hope the water feature went well? Sounds awesome - kind of giving us some inspo 😏 xx
@@NickyandHarri its actually quite nice sitting in the garden listening to the water, I have a hair salon in my garden too and even my clients say how peaceful it is 😍 hopefully we can do a bit more gardening this summer, fingers crossed for more sun ☀️ xx
@@AlisonFoxall How cool, that must be a real relaxing treat for your clients! Fingers crossed hay! 🤞🏻🙂
Great work guys proud of how far you both have come with a lot of hard work ❤
Thank you Monsky 🥰❤️
Great vid 👏
Appreciate it bud! 🙌🏻🙂
Wishing you a good renovation! My guess is 315k for the final value.
Smashing it 👍
Single + ready to mingle himself 😯
Great progress! could you have run the waste pipe across the side of the house to save digging such a big trench?
If you are thinking of trying plastering, have a look at some roll on and speed skim videos 👷🏼👷🏼♀️
Guessing 275 this week
Hey JD 👋🏻, so we had thought about running the pipe down the side but thought it might look a bit ugly (especially having to avoid the downstairs window out of the kitchen/dinner, it would have had to be quite a specific run!
Will make sure we have a look at the roll on and speed skim, hopefully it might make it do-able for us! Appreciate it! 👷♀️👷♂️
Brilliant work guys but don’t forget to look after yourselves 👍🏻
Cheers Paul, as we read this comment on Thursday we were debating tackling more work at 5pm, your comment saved us! 👋🏻😊
Brilliant! Can I ask, where did you get your sinks from? thanks!
Motivating me to at least try and do some of the work myself on our project house! Honestly amazing!! 🙌🏼😍
Ah amazing - we love to hear that!! good luck!

Hi,are you in framlingham?,give me a message please,I may have something that may interest you. Thanks Kevin
Mother of God please tell me she was putting plastic weld on those tee and 90 degree pipe joins off camera?
Otherwise you ARE going to have problems!
Fortunately we’ve left the plaster off of the back and planned on getting it all into position (so we could drill relevant holes) and then we’re taking it apart and cementing the joins! 👍🏻
@@NickyandHarri ah wicked! I was worried for a second there! 😁😁😊
Didn't want to see you both putting balls to the wall and it going Pete Tong! 🤣
