I don't know if you eventually noticed or not, but Goku in this is voiced by Michael Kovach, who is the same guy that voices N in Murder Drones and Jax in Amazing Digital Circus.

With the help of Death Battle, Christopher Reeve, My Adventures with Superman, and MultiVersus, I've gone from thinking, "Superman is cool... I guess..." to, "Dang... Superman is awesome."
Similar to Dragon Ball. Before, I thought it was just memes about Ultra Instinct and nothing else. And while I haven't watched Dragon Ball yet, Death Battle has helped me appreciate the series more, and have it be one I might want to look into and watch. It seems like my kind of show.
I recommend u start from the very beginning, kid goku start makes everything so much more hype later

For a point of reference, in order for Goku to have gone super saiyan god the first time, he had to have the power of 5 otger saiyans transfered into him, giving him an extreme power boost, however temporary.
Though, similar to how he teqined himself in the hyperbolic time chamber where you can train in an endless void that increases the strain on you the further you go into it for a year whinle only a day passed in the real world to allow himself to remain in super saiyan form without putting a strain on hos body, he learned how to make super saiyan god his own by a sort of musvle memmory. Like riding a bike. Once you kniw, you know for life.
Sorry for the verbal spillage, but that's how op Goku gets.it's crazy.
At the end of the day, if they do fight all out, the battle would just eventually collapse the entire multiverse. The only person able to survive after that kind of damage is Superman, as Goku can’t survive in the vacuum of space.
Goku may never reach the level of Superman, but another reason is because Goku doesn’t want to be completely invincible. With the dragon balls, he literally could become just that, but just decides to grow stronger with his own power.
As for getting stronger than he is now? It’s definitely gonna happen. But if there’s any being who could be considered the true strongest in Dragon Ball, it’s probably Zalama itself, the creator of the Super Dragon Balls that can quite literally grant any wish.
Since the dragon balls wishes correspond to how strong the creator is, if the Super Dragon Balls are capable of granting any wish you can think of, it means Zalama is indeed immeasurable in every sense of the word, and likely an omnipotent entity.

I was hoping for Goku to win because I know way more about him than Superman because I have all the dragon Ball super and z and Normal books
Hello. Superman has Goku beat in every possible area, except maybe skill. Even then, Superman has way more experience and more impressive feats overall. We saw Goku get knocked out by a chop to the neck, which can never happen to Superman. Also, the thing that Goku fans conveniently forget is, Goku needed help to attain most of his victories, he needed a team, and the whole world during the Kid Buu saga. Superman has been and always will be as strong as he needs to be. Goku doesn't have anything powerful enough to defeat Superman. If you know about Superman, from actually reading his comics, you know how hacked his character is. Now, Superman has been defeated before in his own universe...many times, but it's always circumstantial and the character is holding back immensely. Take a look at Goku vs Jiren, even in that situation Goku needed Vegeta's energy in order to keep fighting. To top that off Goku never defeated Beerus, who wasn't even using his full power. While i like both characters, Superman is just too much for someone like Goku. Anything Goku can do for the most part Superman can do it a million times more, on top of strength that has scared the strongest beings in his own universe. Besides, we all know that Goku is basically the Superman of Anime, but nowhere near as powerful, because Goku has many limits, as to where Superman is always about not only going beyond them, but never reaching peak power...because he doesn't have to. No matter how many times Goku changes his hair color, goes through training, he will never be able to defeat the Man of Steel. Before I leave you with this to digest, let's look at some other factors - Goku didn't defeat Raditz, that was Piccolo (using Special Beam Canon), Goku didn't defeat Vegeta on his own during the Saiyan Saga, his friends had to interfere for Goku to get the win, Goku quit against Cell, because at the moment in time Gohan was stronger than Goku, (Gohan was actually intended to be stronger than Goku, act as his replacement, but he never got to the level of popularity as Goku, so that didn't happen), even when Goku fought Frieza initially, if his friends didn't help, he would have lost to Frieza then, way before going Super Saiyan. Even Whis stated in Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta would be stronger than Goku, if he simply stopped being so angry and learned to focus more. Basically, Vegeta was holding himself back based on his mindset. Most of the time, the anime character that everyone worships didn't win 90% of his fights on his own. Superman doesn't match reality, defies physics in his sleep. Most humans know nothing about Superman, because their info is limited to the movies they watch. For those of us who actually read Superman comics, we know how hacked Superman is. Bare in mind, many of the individuals who debate this, don't actually know about the Superman character, and blatantly choose to ignore how Goku came across his victories. Death Battle covered this three times, but humans who don't truly know the characters, will act like Goku is supposed to win. However, I'm glad there are millions of humans who actually know the outcome of such a confrontation. Superman not holding back will win every time. NOTE: Anyone who says Superman is PERFECT, has never read a superman comic in their life, and those humans don't understand what the word perfect means. Humans usually have something goofy to say, when they don't have anything of worth to say. Superman makes tons of mistakes, because he was raised by humans, the best humans, but humans none the less. He has emotions and feels just as much as any human. Just because Superman can do many things, has many crazy feats, doesn't mean the character is perfect. Ignore any silly human that tries to use the whole "Superman is perfect" in a discussion.

Im guessing you skipped the Second Goku vs Superman from 8 years ago where they already went over super sayain god and Super Sayain God Blue which was Goku's update at that time. Both Goku and Supes had new stuff since then

While that’s true it’s also up to the reader/watcher/listener to decide wether it was a good fight and good outcome
Stan Lee was basically saying he hates fans asking "who would win between Hulk and other Avengers." He did a five minute video where he even yelled about it. He hated power scalling and the whole "who would win" debate.@@stargazer-elite
@@AzguardMikeBut that was a different context- Stan Lee writes stories where fighting isn’t necessarily the point. And he was tired of people missing the point when reading his stuff, continuously asking him questions that had *no* point in his medium.
Powerscaling is a separate entity from mainstream writing- a fun activity where you can dissect just how powerful a character is and put them in a boxing match with another. We tend not to try and drag creators directly into it, because 1- they obviously weren’t writing with these battles in mind, and 2- doing so feels like petty validation, a way to drag the “official word of god” into it as some sort of “take that”. We take official things they’ve said into account, but we don’t push the battles in their faces.
Honestly, it’s real crappy that you’re taking the words of a dead man, which were said in a different situation, to do some kind of moral grandstanding, in an attempt to devalue what is just a fun pastime.

Superman is ridiculously powerful for reasons not fully explained and breaking laws of physics just to entertain simple minds from times far in the past. He is simply more powerful in every way that exists and there is no reason to compare him with anything and that makes Superman a boringly structured character in my opinion.
