Travel News! Huge Restrictions Lifted in England and UK. Cruise Ship Flees seizure from US Marshalls

The Prime Minister of England, Boris Johnson, has announced that the country will no longer require the wearing of masks, will no longer require you to show a covid passport (proof of vaccination), and has dropped several travel testing restrictions when visiting the country. This is amazing news! Mask and Covid passports have already been dropped. Travel restrictions will be dropped on Feb 11th.
The Crystal Symphony turned around when headed to Miami and went to the Bahamas instead to avoid being boarded by a US Marshall and being seized. They owe 4.6 million dollars in fuel charges and a US judge ordered the boat to be seized so they just ran to the Bahamas with a boat full of passengers. Whoa.

Thanks for the useful information! I am ecstatic they lifted restrictions in England! I am traveling to Ireland from the U.S. for a wedding in late March, and was hoping to travel throughout the U.K. afterwards. It will be interesting to see if the other countries follow suit. I sure hope so, since I would love to see Scotland.

It is looking like we are finally headed in that direction. I believe other countries will start to follow suit. Throughout the pandemic Scotland, Ireland, and others have followed the lead of England so by late March I'm hoping you will be free to roam! Sounds like an awesome trip. Have fun!
