Its that time again, A great day out in London to the Gaming Market at Russell Square join me as I walk around the event unearth some retro treasures and bump into some familiar faces.
I will share my thoughts and memories and also I have picked up some tasty games to show off...

the gaming world has never been better its peak time for all gamers
That market was mad, would have been great to meet up, I ended up at the pub with segahead (Tom) and retro gamer boy (Mike), I’ve been going for a few years and picked up a couple of megadrive games and finally started up a gameboy collection. Great market and hopefully catch you there next time, great video and footage 👍👍👍
I did chat to Tom when we first got into the market, I was hoping to meet up with you guys at the pub but due to us arriving at 12 and how full the market was we didn’t get to look around properly until late and ended up chatting the day away with so many people 😂 I like to talk lol

I watched the video in two stages and had to go back and see the rest after work. I m glad I did. Some of those pickups were awesome mate. That story about you fighting with your mate gary was quite funny too. Glad you got to meet a few of the other you tubers. TootyUK is a gentleman!

I'm pleased with what I picked up unfortunately I didn't sent spot any master system games I needed which was a shame

Very good footage and some rare games shown,Looked well busy to say footage was later on,Sega Saturn stick £3.75 😂👌Good pickups and make sure you grab them Sega cd games if possible
Thanks mate, there was some beautiful Sega on display I wish Xmas wasn’t around the corner I would of had those Sega cd games as I’m so close to the full mega cd set

I’m super Shinobi it’s either stage 5 or 6 when you fight Spidey / Batman 😂. I think Godzilla is there as well but I’ve never got that far!!

Hey, dude! It's been great watching some old fashioned Atari pick ups from the like of Stu and yourself! It's a wonderful machine to collect for, with so many memories attached to absolutely loads of games. I'd watch that Darren if I were you, he's a great salesman! 😜 He has a really nice VCS collection, himself! I don't think I've ever played on an Atari 7800 before, nor the 5200.
Kaboom is a frantic game, which I have only ever played with a joystick! Not a good way in which to play the game! 🤣
There are many versions of that Shinobi game. I remember looking in to it a few years back. I believe version 1.0 is the one with all the characters. I'm not sure which version I have myself, to be honest!

Yeah I've been thrown right back into the Atari loving the nostalgia and the box art and some of the games are just so good pure gameplay

Im sort of glad i came late given how busy it was. To be honest given how little sleep i got imamazed i showed up at all 😅.
Glad you did well with your purchases Scott. I wasnt very impressed myself. Like you pointed out a lot of stuff was either really expensive or in poor condition. The prices really put me off as i came across a lot of cases where it was cheaper to get on ebay! 😮 . When ebay becomes the cheaper option you have to ask yourself why even bother 😅.

If looking for Nintendo card board then yeah condition was average to poor and the minty stuff unfortunately your right was over eBay prices which is a shame

I do miss the London gaming market just for the social if anything as I’ve not seen you guys in ages.
I went on a raid that weekend which I couldn’t miss and it turned out to be amazing experience finding old arcade machines, but my god was it hard work.
Some fantastic Atari pickups in which all have such cool art work.
Did you get to play super shinobi and was it any different?

Great footage of the market...so many treats on show for sale...ive never been to a gaming market, always been put off as I know I would want thousands in my back pocket as there will be so much I want for the collection. Hopefully next year I will make it to one 🤞
I have no nostalgia etc for the atari stuff but, I love to see the box art (box porn) and also hear the memories as to why you have added them...gotta admit that Wrestling game looks awesome!

In regards to The Super shinobi, you are correct, it was the version that didn't have Rambo, removed to a bald man, it has Godzilla, and Spider-man transforming to the Dark Knight himself is in this game, it is wild, this is the first version, so props to you. Pier Solar is an amazing RPG and a technical marvel, this game has an enthralling soundtrack on both MD and the Sega CD soundtrack and yes play it, it was inspired by Phantasy Star IV and Chrono Trigger which are the best RPG's of that era. Largest memory for the MD in terms of cart for the time. (Paprium has changed that)

Ahh that was my table (Bygone Games) at 9 mins and me talking to that last customer I served selling the Sega GO 60th anniversary pin frame (which sadly you didn't see) the stamp collection went with it. I also had that Sega/Sieko Sega Go Watch only 800 were made and was only sold in Japan that you did take a shot of. You are right it was really packed and my body was aching. Mad respect for you for using the A12. I look foward to seeing you again be sure to say hello!
You had a fantastic table of games and Sega merchandise, loved the Sega bling watches, I have the Dreamcast watch in my collection one day hopefully I can add the others. I got a glimpse of the 60th anniversary pin set but that guy beat me too it, I hope you got plenty of rest after the event mate it was so busy

@@SEGAZombie I'm still knackerd, but I'll be ready for the next one, I'll see if I can get another Pin set from Japan if they are available for the next one. You are right in it being busy, I felt bad as people just stuck around a long time staring at stuff on my table and not everyone could see the stuff I had as they were in the way so that was kind of a negative as I feel many missed out. One of my mates could not handle it and just left coz it got so jam packed! This is a hobby for me and I enjoy being a facilitator of such things. Glad you loved the stuff on my table.

Yo! So the only way to tell if you have a v1.0 Super Shinobi is to play through to stage 3 unfortunately. If you have Rambo in the level, congrats!
It's a shame you have to get through that bastard waterfall stage 2 first though!

Cracking pickups there Scott, especially the Atari stuff, those 7800 boxes sure were sexy🙂 Must resist the Atari 2600+, must resist!!! Anyway that is easier now that I've allowed the opportunity of bargain buys to pass me buy as prices have really increased since release. I have plenty enough systems to focus on.
London Gamer Market looks awesome, I will get to one of those, even if mainly to just potter around looking and hopefully a bit of a social aswell.

It’s definitely worth a trip down mate to the London gaming market it’s great to browse at games you just never see anywhere else but the best part of the day is just meeting up with friends and like minded people .
First game I’ve loaded in, Tutankham it’s a solid little game if not a tad frustrating to control but think I’m getting the hang of it now hahahah

Great video. Had an earlybird ticket for this. Did enjoy it to begin with, managed to pick up a few Japanese Dreamcast and Super Famicom games. However it was jam packed just after 12. For me, too many people are let in. People constantly barging into you and it's a struggle to move around. Was checking out mega drive games on the floor and someone kneed me in the head. To be fair, the guy apologised, but it is putting me off going to this market in future. Looked much better when you went, what time did you film this?
That’s awesome you managed to bag some Japanese Dreamcast games, we got into the market bang on 12 and yes it was rammed way to many people, we managed to squeeze are way through to the back room and found a small space in the corner where we let the crowds die down enough so we could actually walk around, the footage was filmed around 2 o clock a lot more calmer then
