This video shows gun camera footage sequences of Luftwaffe Bf 110F-2 heavy fighters of Zerstörer Geschwader 1 in ground attack role and engaging Soviet Polikarpov I-15 bilplane and I-16 rata fighters in 1942. It also includes footage of numerous Luftwaffe Messerschmitt Bf 109 Emil fighters strafing ships and shooting down Ilyushin Il-4 bombers.
The footage was obtained via Die Deutsch Wochenshau or German Newsweek segments.
