what i like specifically about the yedam jeongwoo relationship is the way they bring things out of each other. yedam has always been yg's golden boy, he's been training for forever, he has a crazy gifted voice, and he's friends with a lot of seniors in his company. on top of that he does really well in school. people have always admired him for that and complimented him and stuff, but they also put him on a pedestal for that so i think that's why he seemed pretty mature in treasure box. all the expectations to live up to, right? jeongwoo has some expectations on him too (he literally learned singing for two days before passing a yg audition that’s insane) for his talented voice, but he has less in comparison to yedam. also, this kid is a ray of sunshine. he makes bad jokes, he has a relatable personality, he's hecka funny and extra and we all love him for it! he also treats yedam exactly the same as everyone else. a lot of ppl treat yedam as someone to be respected but jeongwoo is literally here yelling like no big deal. i think yedam would feel really relieved to be treated like that. i also think yedam looks at jeongwoo and sees someone he wants to protect like “ah yes here is my singing junior but more than that, here is a crazy child i want to watch over”. especially since i think yedam would take care of ppl well. and jeongwoo sees someone to learn from, a reliable older member, but more then that? he sees another friend
Totally agree! I love their relationship. They take care of each other. That TMI in Bali, Jeongwoo cried when his food fell and Yedam told him “don’t cry. Be strong. That’s part of growing up” was so sweet.
true, Yedam really sees him as his younger brother, Jeongwoo mentioned that he and yedam always go to school together, that's why when jihoon acompanied him to his school they lost twice and need to use taxi, that was also his first time riding in a subway to go to school. Yedam really spoils him. Now that Yedam already graduated from SOPA, I hope he won't feel alone.
The effect Jeongwoo has on Yedam is crazy, and I love it HAHAHAHAHA In ygtb, Yedam saw him as a threat, but look at them now hahahaha (I guess a threat that Jeongwoo's craziness would rub on him bad hoho) Jeongwoo is his maknae that's like they have the same age. I like how Yedam becomes PEAK crackhead when he's with Jeongwoo. Crackhead Yedam is hard to see, cause he's mostly clingy, aegyo, or godyedam with the others hahahaha
I think Yedam never saw Jeongwoo as a threat. You can also see in the first episode where Yedam said that he is hesitating to face Jeongwoo since they have very different voices that cater to different musical genres. Even in the performance with Jyunhao, Yedam just said that he will do his best and harmonized with Jyunhao till the end.
I don't think he saw him as a "threat". It was YG who pushed Jeongwoo as being a potential "threat" but ever since Yedam laid his eyes on Jeongwoo, he adopted him as his little brother hahaha. In behind scenes and cctv cams, you can see that these two are literally always together. They practiced their songs together and jammed to tracks (okay, more like Jeongwoo fanboying over Yedam and Yedam encouraging him to sing with him lol) Istg Yedam is the clingiest member and will not hesitate to add yet another brother to his rooster.
Everyone on treasure would say jeongwoo don't listen to them when hyunsuk and jaehyuk said in a radio show, even to yedam he sometimes tease but in all honestly jeongwoo has the biggest respect to yedam out of all the members because he idolized yedam a lot, and what yedam says he follows too and he really listen to him a lot
Nahh he will graduate next year, might even take sometime off school since treasure will be debuting soon but I think in yedam case, he will graduate on time with flying colors
Teumes need to see that Damwoo or WoozDam (I made that up bcoz its cool) is the future. They are always together. Their past ships are all shaking. And they are sailing so steadily.
They fight and clown each other a lot. But they love and care each other so much. They are vocal kings and ACEs of 4th generation. They are Jeongdam. P.S Yedam is my bias . I love seeing him so happy and relax . I'm so thankful to Jeongwoo because he can make Yedam's smiles.
