The edge booster reactivates with water. I hardly ever have flaking but when I get the white residue I just brush with water and problem solved.

Vaseline helps hair stick to itself. I am putting my hair into the cornrow that's going across. However, I don't have a ponytail. Last night, I rocked one for a bd as y party and it felt to jovial. I love this look but I lack the patience for crochet hair lol plus I'm worried about take down. For the edge booster, I noticed that I have white residue the next day as well. However, over the summer i did a half up half down with a half wig and i sprayed my hair with water, put eco styler gel first then the edge control and I didn't get any flaking or residue.

You can also corn row or flat twist the braids at the back horizontally this is the best way. I'm not a strong braider at all but I can manage it. Wind proof crochet braids! 😏

Try doing your braid horizontally. Hair flows better and less hair to cover tracks… way easier to cover tracks as well
