Everybody's like, build EM teams, they are easy to build.
What people don't tell you is that everyone on that EM team needs to be lv90 and with full EM gear
You can always do a Kokomi or Raiden Hyperbloom team. No exta EM teammate needed hahah
That IS what people say. Especially in Nilou bloom
I personally go for atk/dmg/crit build on Kaveh with R5 favonius solving my ER problem - he’s not triggering blooms so atk/dmg/crit gives me more damage, and his EM ascension + some EM substats + EM passive + external buffs (like dendro res and Nahida’s Q) giving him enough EM to self-sustain pretty okay.
I think with triple hydro he should be one with higher bloom ownership and built full EM or ER/EM/EM, but ~4-5s of downtime kind of makes triple hydro less appealing
Alright now that makes a lot of sense, but I'm sure as hell not going to go out of my way to farm 2x em full sets for my hydro characters (either xin yelan barbara or now furina). It's great info to know but sadly it just makes me even less likely to build him.

I do have a question with your specific team. Sinse you are using 2 hydro characters + fighting short range (meaning Barbara and xingqiu 'shields' are hitting the enemies) doesnt that make your hydro application faster than the dendro? Meaning it is likely that enemies are constantly hydro affected and then dendro comes and does the reaction? Therefore Khaveh should have the EM, no?
Hydro and Dendro gauge are consumed in a 2:1 ratio, where Hydro is “weak” against Dendro. This means that 2 Units of Hydro is necessary to react away 1 Unit of Dendro
You will need a significantly greater amount of Hydro application to ensure that Dendro is the trigger for Bloom, while a much smaller amount of Dendro application is needed to ensure that Hydro is the trigger for Bloom Reactions.
This makes it much easier for the Hydro units to be responsible for Bloom generation. That's why I open the combo dealing Dendro first with Kaveh's Skill.

Just got Kaveh on my new account where I also have Xianyun , was wondering how good a Plunge Kaveh would be . But yeah I gotta invest a lot in other characters as well .
These are non nillou teams, most people that go full em build him for nilou teams. I guess this team needs to be tested in spiral abyss floor 12 for effectiveness. Otherwise I don't see the point of using this kind of team.

Well, yeah, I mean you’re right, you need to build Kaveh mostly EM.
Because he doesn’t work.
This is one of the worst designed character, in recent releases.
In a Standart Nilou-Bloom team, he will be very rarely an activator for blooms.
Because of Nahida, your enemy’s will always have a dendro aura on them, and Hydro characters would be the one to activate the reaction.
So EM (as you said) doesn’t matter for Kaveh, but matter for Kokomi/Xinnque
(Well, yeah. You can play him a solo-dendro, but if you’re not playing Nahida in Bloom, you’re not being optimal)
And even I’d he does activate a bloom or two, his buff is extremely weak, to the point of it being quite negligible.
So yeah, he’s just either a mediocre dendro applicator, which you realistically don’t need in any team. (Because of far better options)
Or, he’s something you will use because you don’t have a better characters.
It almost seems like he’s intentionally was made to be bad, (because nothing in his kit makes sense).
Heals are not very good, because in Bloom/Burgeon comps, oftenly you need to sustain more than 1 char.
Buff sucks.
Application is Mediocre
His ability to explode blooms prematurely, is a joke, Nilou does it so much better.
None of his Consts does anything to save him, C1 and C6 are little upgrades, but he need SO much more than that.
And to add insult to injury, they even gave him additional restrictions, with him being Locked by THE WORST dendro reaction, (besides burning), and him having an 80 cost burst, with questionable energy generation. Just..… why?
Still playable, because dendro is stupid, but arguably he’s the worst Dendro Character in game right now
