This was such a powerful and uplifting song!
I had goosebumps all over and a tug of sadness at the first part when Mei-lan sang “give me freedom “.
I felt that statement was the cry of humanity for our freedom. The colour of Mei-lan’s and Ali’s outfits were shades of indigo…a reflection of the indigo children’s rising perhaps?😄
