2006, the start of the end. 2014, F1 passed away. RIP F1.
Thank you for recover V10/20000 RPM Sound

Thank you for support. But, I think, start of the end becomes from 2009, when F1 has legalized a KERS for cars. In 2011 we saw a DRS... and then we know what happened. Cars from 2006-2008 years still has been a powerful 19000 RPM V8 engines

@@formulaonesound I don’t think KERS (now ERS) is a bad thing - tbh I’d love nothing more than to see the V10’s with an ERS system
The problem is, whilst F1 has done down a more technologically advanced path (as they should being the pinnacle of motorsport) they have gone down a path that has sacrificed what the fans love - the screaming V10’s
Myself, along with a lot of F1 fans, want these engines back, partially for nostalgia but also the atmosphere they provide.
Surely the worlds premier motorsport series could engineer a way for them to return in a manner that fits F1s new directives? Wishful thinking I know 😂

Coming out of that last chicane when he gets on the power and the V10 just barks into high revs....
I appreciate the halo, the safety tech, and engineering of modern F1. But the V10 era was epic.

The sensation of speed is incredible compared to today's machinery. How have we lost this over the years?

Williams BMW missed a top rider, at level of M. Schumacher or Mikka Hakkinen, to achieve better results. Montoya was very good, but one point below these two. The car was espectacular, and running like demon, but it was missing that special point that gives you a top driver.

    • @redfruit1968

It wasn’t the fault of the drivers, Ferrari was simply too good at the time and there was no competing with them. Williams produced fine cars that either struggled aerodynamically or by BMW delivering strong but unreliable engine, while Ferrari delivered a complete package piloted by the great Schumi. JPM could’ve and probably would’ve won the 2003 title if not for reliability issues.

yup! honestly Kimi in that 2003 BMW would’ve won the championship by Indy race
