My children's father is from Chile. Chile is a country of very intelligent, warm people and often have been called the miracle of Latin America. While my ex-husband's family were Pinochet supporters, he had family members who were pro Allende. I noticed that Michelle Bachelet actually implemented many of his policies which some were critical of because her father was tortured during the Pinochet Regime. It warms my heart to know that they are too against the genocide in Gaza and have decided to join the ICJ case. My son visited the Holy land not too long ago. He was visiting with his church and said both the people in Gaza and the West bank were so king to him. He stayed with 3 Muslim families and 2 Christian families and despite the fact that they were under a blockade and they hardly had much to eat, they wanted to make sure he was fed. Unfortunately, his idea of Isarel was ruined by the Israelis themselves. It seemed that he was a bit angry upon his return. He even started cursing which he never did before. At one point, he was almost roughed up by IDF soldiers who went from dehumanizing him to saying, "Wait, he is a tourist not a Palestinian. This change in attitude happened by him showing his passport. Like many people in Gaza, he too was blessed with very handsome features and is often easily mistaken for being Middle Eastern. He mentioned to me that the settlers had a hygiene problem. It was by accident he discovered this when he bumped into one outside of the church. When he tried to apologize, the guy freaked out, yelled curses at him and ran away. The priest from the church saw him trying to go after him to apologize again and he says, "No need to worry about him. We wont be seeing him for a few weeks. He will be purifying (he touched a non-Jew). I found that comical.
China will voluntarily and unilaterally open its market wider. We have decided to give all LDCs having diplomatic relations with China, including 33 countries in Africa, zero-tariff treatment for 100 percent tariff lines. ➡ This means zero-tariff on all products or goods exported to China from these African countries. Importing from Africa is now incentivized! - $50 billion support China also pledged RMB360 billion yuan (approximately $49.8 billion USD) in financial support to Africa over the next three years. - China will work vigorously with Africa to promote personnel training, poverty reduction and employment - China will send 2,000 medical personnel to Africa, and launch 20 programs of health facilities and malaria treatment. - China will provide 60,000 training opportunities to Africa, mainly for women and youths.
Meanwhile, the US is launching more coups in Africa to overthrow leaders that are refusing to follow the US’s orders to do what is best for the US’s interests, but instead they are choosing to do what is best for their own citizens’ interests, which violates the US’s “International Rules-Based Order!”
