The challenge of our modern day diets is that we don't get enough essential vitamins and minerals from our foods. Processed foods, refines sugars, and preservatives rob our foods of their nutrients.
We take multivitamins to overcome these deficiencies. There's really no tangible, noticeable effect you are going to see in your physiology from taking multivitamins. At least not in the short term.
However, there are substantial health benefits to taking multivitamins long term.

I've been taking multivitamins for over 6 months. There was no difference except after a month or two I actually started feeling more awake before lunch. I am not a morning person so that is a big deal. 6 months later and my skin suddenly cleared up completely. No other change in my diet or anything else in over a year except that 6 months ago i started taking multi vitamins. Now my skin is super clear and I think this might be what's causing it.

Your wrong, been through the need to take B12, B complex, multi vitamin many times. I rarely drink, but when I do like at a party or a reception I recently attended, afterwards I needed vitamins. Drinking kills your vitamins and it takes three days just to start feeling good enough after taking them to start feeling better and a week to get back to your long bicycle rides 3 times a week. Yes I’m over 60, yes it was not light drinking. There you you have it, my version why older people need them to recover.
