Grand échalas moitié hipster moitié freak élevé dans les Iles Vestmann, Unnar Gísli Sigurmundsson, dit *Júníus Meyvant*, fait prospérer, depuis 2012 à Reykjavik, un joli bouquet de chansons raffinées, évoluant entre soul 70's et folk rapiécé, drapées de cordes, de cuivres et d'orgue Hammond, et d'une voix que le fan de skate-board n'a pas besoin de porter haut sur son premier album (_Floating Harmonies_, 08/07) pour qu'elle vous enrobe comme une couverture de laine quand l'orage gronde en plaine.
