    Russia wasn’t just banned, they rejected the membership of EBU. EBU is what determines if a country is eligible to compete in the first place. As long as they are outside EBU they will not be able to compete.

      good for these egoistic "russia" to quit itself before waiting for a foregone conclusion of ebu expelling "russia" out.
      and no way rashist (commie+fascist) soviet 2.0 "russia" will ever rejoin without getting a veto from uk (and spain and other members especially nato members bordering 2 rashist "countries") if rashist still rule
      (i said uk and spain because the other big5 france german and italy is kind of returning to chamberlain's appeasement, at least uk had learnt a costly WWII lesson themselves)
