  • The brand new Yonex Nanoflare 800 Pro racket! I haven't hit any birds with it yet, but from what I've felt from just swinging it around, it feels too stiff for how light the racket is. My opinion might change if I use it properly, but for now, this does not seem like the racket I would use.
    Racket: Yonex Nanoflare 800 Pro
    Tension: 25lb mains, 27lb crosses (26lb)
    Strings: Yonex BG 66 Ultimax
    Machine: Yonex ES5
    Pattern: 4 knots, 2 pieces

Quick question when you are doing crossed why are you releasing both clamps when its on tension? Is there a specific reason to also unclamp the one below the currently being tensioned one?

I lose both the clamps just to ensure that the tension spreads out more evenly throughout the entire racket when tensioning the crosses!

@@badmintonstuff i see, isnt the already strung crosses losing tension then? For instance 3 crosses down

@@StringSwoosh I do not think so because if every time you pull and it's the same tension every time then why would the past rows lose tension? Also when I let go of both clamps, if the machine senses that tension drops it will tighten it even more to make up for it if you know what I mean.
