LEFTOVER CLAYPOT CHICKEN RICE - Sherson and Mom Series EP 1 | SHERSON LIAN

- You guys have been asking “Where’s your Mom?” “When are you shooting contents with your Mom?”, well guys! Surprise! She’s back and today I'll cook with my mom, Ann. She will be sharing her leftover Claypot Chicken Rice recipe. Wanna see how we are in the kitchen together? Jom tengok today’s video!
Ingredients - Chicken: - Marinate (10 - 15 mins)
✏️ 2 Nos - Drumsticks (cut 3 piece)
✏️ 2 Tbsp - Soy sauce
✏️ 1 Tbsp - Oyster sauce
✏️ 1 Tsp - White pepper
✏️ 1 Tbsp - Sesame oil
✏️ 1 Tsp - Cornstarch
✏️ Lil bit Ginger (Slice)
✏️ A pinch of salt
✏️ 4 nos - Shiitake mushrooms (Slice)
Sauces for Rice:
✏️ 2 Tbsp - Dark caramel sauce
✏️ 2 Tbsp - Bawang goreng (with the Oil)
✏️ 2 Tbsp - Kombucha (Replacement of Rice Wine)
✏️ 1 Nos - Ginger (grated & squeeze 1 tbsp juice)
✏️ 1 Tsp - Sugar
✏️ Pinch of salt
Cooking The Rice:
✏️ 1 Cup - Shiitake soaked water / Any stock water
✏️ Leftover rice
(Steam for 10 mins)
✏️ Oil (Drizzle around the claypot)
✏️ 1 nos - Salted Fish
✏️ Spring Onion

He has also hosted multiple TV shows on the Asian Food Network (previously AFC), including "Amazing Food Challenge; Fun in the Philippines', ‘Great Dinners of The World’, 'Reality Bites' and 4 seasons of ‘Family Kitchen with Sherson’ together with his mum.
Sherson Lian is the co-founder of Makhan by Kitchen Mafia, a restaurant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Kitchen Mafia, an F&B solutions company that offers catering, private dining/chef's table sessions, and restaurant/menu consultancy among other services.
Shers's mom cooking is very amazing to watch. Glad to see Shers bring it her into this show. Keep it up.

😊 Wow! Sherson's Mom lives in South Africa. I wonder if she can easily find the Asian ingredients. I live in a small town in Portugal and it is not easy to find Asian ingredients.
