Youngji's reaction to Kyungsoo kissing her 😭 😭 SHES SO REALLL
She was young at the time and she apologized twice and admitted her mistake. Yes, she did not make the same mistake again after that.
She is very talented can rap and sing
She wrote the song about her experience dating a guy shorter than her, and she talked about her fears and flaws that began to grow inside her, making her feel like her surroundings couldn't contain her. The response was from her lover, who is Kyungsoo in the music video that he does not care about these matters and accepts her as who she is
Love how youngji nailed the message of the song- loving the person for who they are. Her voice is rich and a treat to listen to. Not to mention the moment kyungsoo starts singing, his vocal tone and english pronunciation just takes me out of this world! What an adorable and amazing collab! Sweet.
"the best apology is changed behavior" i like that
naurr it's actually funny because youngji was shock about the beso that d.o do😆her running holding her hair away from kyungsoo was so cute😆
(btw the song is so good,THE VOCALS✨)
Tmi lee youngji was one of the participants of show me the money shes originally a rapper but she can sing too!! And after show me the money she make her own youtube channel also She got some cool music you can check it out, cmiiw😙
This song is done with "If I care " of Kyungsoo's part for me. Soooo amazing 👏 🤩
Yesss. It's such a bop, and everyone missed it. I love this song so much.
Her reaction to the kiss represents D.O's fandom after watching the mv! And I am one of them🤭🥰❤️❤️❤️
I love the song and the mv.❤
If anyone is curious about the kiss on the cheek, that was filmed first right when they met. It turns out that D.O kept on asking youngji questions to break the ice. However, the director started to countdown and and D.O still kept asking questions to distract her and to keep her from hearing the director then proceeded to kiss her. Yes, that’s her real reaction at the end 😅
I’m 38 and Asian, and I was 15 or 16 watching a movie at home with my family (forgot what) it was a comedy with black American leads and they kept saying the n word, and also I loved to listen to hiphop and rnb at that time and always heard the n word from black artists, I thought the word had the equivalent meaning of “homie” or something. Anyway, in the middle of the movie I just echoed what the characters were saying, and I said the n word while laughing along. My dad said - don’t say that, it’s not nice. Honestly at that age and at that time even though I went to a very good school in a big city, and got good grades and was updated on the news, the use of n word and its history was never discussed in school, and I never heard about it being talked about in my community, and I had no foreigner friends… And there were no smartphones or youtube yet back then… I asked my dad why I shouldnt say it and he just said - just dont say it, it’s not nice. It was much later that I learned about it when I decided to read up on it mysefl, because I became more aware of it through social media and the news, etc. Youngji’s case is a bit different given that we are in the internet and social media era now, and she is also a public figure and loves hiphop and rnb music, but I do believe her apology is sincere. We all make mistakes, I’m sure all of us have used inappropriate language when we were young and ignorant and immature. I’m not downplaying the use of n word, I’m just saying let’s have the grace to forgive if someone is sincere and proves it through their actions. I’m lucky I’m not a public figure and there wasnt any social media to capture my stupid, ignorant mistakes at that time and someone can dig up receipts and cancel me for something I honestly just didn’t know about. I have never ever said it again, btw. Anyways, the song is a BOP I love Kyungsoo and it’s already hit RAK real time all kill #1 on all korean platforms I’m so happy and proud of both of them
Yes she has never said it again after her apology
D.O. !! He has a great voice !!
Hey! I just wanted to say I love your channel your hilarious lol. I also love your news videos too, very informative about serious things going in Korea. I hope you keep on being the positive person you are 😊. Much love ❤
youngji is the best
alongside with d. o
I’ve been waiting for this reaction
I had no clue she said the n word, how disappointing but that seemed like a real heartfelt apology
yeah she was also like 18/19 when that happened iirc
Yeah she's young at that time n she apologize twice too & didn't do it again. She's a good kid so hopefully you all give her another chance.
I really don't think singing a song with the word in it should count as saying it. I think context and intention is the most important thing, and a lot of people choose to ignore that just to focus on one small thing. Especially in the context of it being a person who's native language is not English. This type of thing has happened quite a few times with various different idols, yet not a single time has there been any bad intention behind it.
@@BlackVeilSpectra I mean a racial derogatory slur is a racist derogatory slur…tf context gotta do with it, if you aren’t black just don’t say it at all it shouldn’t be that hard not to say it. I’m black myself and I don’t even say it.
@@BlackVeilSpectra if only they are as understanding as u...anyway Youngji has apologize sincerely so i hope nobody will bring up this issue again. Not sure in the future will happen again or not..as she's a rapper & many good rap song are from black people. They use the word in their rap...but she can't sing it even if she likes the song....
She CAN sing. You should listeng to her cover of Lizzo with Seungkwan.
And this is a hymn for all the tall and loud girls like me 😭
She just took rest in show activities for her music work, maybe that's why you haven't seen her in a while! I just love her music career, SOTY for me💕
A lee youngji mostrou que tem vocal pra cantar faz tempooo, escutem "Freesia" e "Anemone"
LEE YOUNGJI !! She is phenomenal !!
Eu simplesmente amei que a musica é a cara dela, é totalmente ela
Me emociono toda vez que vejo o mv 😭😭
Atleast she apologized and admit her mistake, there’s idols out there who haven’t apologized or admitted saying the n word iykyk
D.O. Come home pls I’ll forgive u
Some of these comments are very weird but I'm not surprised, a lot of these kpop fans are anti-black as hell. I love Youngji but that doesn't mean I'm going to defend n-word usage like some of these commenters 🤨 like wth is wrong with you people.
That being said: the song is so good! I'm glad she sang it with D.O too, I think it helped reinforce the song's message, what with him being shorter and all. Also idk if you watched her CZcams show, No Prepare, if you haven't you should check those out, they're consistently hilarious.
❤❤❤
Young-Ji is ❤
3:08 완전 소녀 리액션인데ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
can you please do a reaction videos of her show
the whole world makes racist jokes and immitates asian languages but let one word spits out of an asian person, the whole world gets upset.
what are you on? anti-asian racism and anti-black racism are both wrong and should both be called out, tf? if a black person feels uncomfortable following a non-black artist after they say the nword, that's their perogative just like I wouldn't blame any asian person if they never listened to Miley Cyrus after she pulled on her eyes back in 2009. No one is owed an audience and people can choose what they are willing to forgive/not forgive when it comes to ignorant behavior
Ok? Go and stand up to those that make racist Asian jokes then. Are you saying we should let racism against black people get a pass because Asians experienced racism? Does that not sound like a stupid af thing to you??
Instead of you to advocate for stopping racism in all of its forms, you want one version to flourish??
At this point I can only consider you a racist yourself because what the fuck
I just don’t get how people can put that word in their songs if they just want to turn around and act all offended when people sing along with the song. Anyone who calls someone racist for enjoying a song like that is stupid.
They're reclaiming the word for themselves obviously. The same way a gay person could use the f word jokingly, but it will still be fucked up if a straight person used it. It's not difficult to understand
here's the thing I don't understand. I get the weight and the seriousness of the N word. But yet why do they still keep utilising the word and putting it in the lyrics of the music?
When covers are done faithfully i.e, without any changes to the song and lyric- it just ends up propagating the very word to all listeners which may or may not care about what the word represent. In short, shouldn't they start by changing themselves first and maybe stop using it if they are so offended by the word.
you can't really be taken seriously if you walk around or turn on youtube and you hear them casually dropping the word and then going - "It's fine because i'm black". Honestly its just ridiculous
Something you need to understand is that the n word is a big slur, from hundreds of years ago until today, because white people used it to segregate the Black community. Black people, after whole ass centuries of being enslaved and exploited, started using that word between each other to reappropriate that word for themselves. So yeah black rappers and black singers will keep using that word in their songs because it is part of their fight for equality. It's your job, with the internet and all the knowledge we acquire from industrialization, to not use that word and apologize if you make a mistake.
I don't actually understand the black people, why do they feel offended when someone who isn't black say the N word? I know the history of this word for them but the word in itself isn't bad or a swear word. I really don't want to offend anyone
The word itself is bad and a swear word 🤨🤨 Clearly you don't know the history of the word as well as you say, if you're saying nonsense like this 🤨
In a world where black people are killed for doing nothing and are discriminated against constantly, you're asking why they don't like to be called a slur?? Seriously what is wrong with you? Disgusting behavior fr
