Why does the kiwi have a 12 mile per hour fly speed? Kiwi have the disability of flight, their wings are tucked in their thick feather coat and kiwi are too large and heavy. It is impossible for them to fly.

I've stood eye-to-eye with a shoebill on the beach. It was such a surreal experience for me, as I didn't even know that birds the size of a human even existed. Even his stance, eye gaze, & mannerisms were just like humans. It was totally freaky. He looked at me like, "Hey, what's up? How's it goin'?" And then we stood side-by-side, looking at the ocean & watching the waves together. The locals acted like it was a normal event, so I just accepted it.

1: the woodpecker can fly at over 30mph ( when you googled speed you accidentally looked at their head speed ).
2: the kiwi does NOT “fly”… like at all so no fly speed.
3: the peregrine falcon can reach speeds of around 186mph.. not “68”. Literally the fastest animal alive.
4: the Dodo was possibly quick but not “50mph” fast … the word Dodo was given to the by Dutch explorers meaning “sluggish”.
5: the Emu is not extinct.. I see the at least once a month.

Your information is incorrect regarding Emu's. They are not 'extinct' or is there a 'concern' regarding their existence. In fact, they're flourishing with a native population of over 700,000 Emu's in Australia. Plus, add to that Emu's that can be found in zoos and Emu farms - you should edit your content.

The flightless Elephant Bird, flightless Moa, flying Argentavis, and flying Pelagornis are all bigger than the Terror bird.
There are two extinct bird families more impressive than Terror birds. The Elephant bird (multiple species) The biggest of them were 9-10 feet tall, 1,500-2,000 pounds and went extinct 1,000 years ago due to humans. The Moa birds (multiple species) were 12 feet tall, over 500 pounds, and went extinct in 1445 due to humans. These two birds were taller or heavier than Terror Birds, and were recently alive.
    Pelagornis: 17 foot wingspan
Terror Birds (multiple species) went extinct 2-2.5 million years ago. The tallest species was 10 feet tall. The heaviest species was 770 pounds.
