I am amazed to hear that spencer has 50% of hearing loss, his speech is phenomenal l! I have hearing lost & have struggle to speak very well. I felt bad for him that he had to justify his audience :( I hope he okay & wish him all the best. Ps. u guy are so cute!
Everytime spenser is on your chanel it's easier and easier to see why you feel in love with him. He seems like such a beautiful kind soul, the way he concentrates and hangs onto every word your saying is amazing, I know it's mostly down to his hearing but you can tell its also because he loves and respects what you have to say. Loved this video, I think it’s amazing how supportive he is towards your career and helps you with it. I think that’s absolutely incredible. I also found it interesting to know that Spencer is a barber that’s really cool. I don’t understand why people make these assumptions (well it’s usually cos people are jealous) but I’ve said this before on another video. You are such an amazing couple and I enjoy watching you too together cos neither one has the lead opinion. Just wanted to say I have recently found your channel and so glad I did!. You are very down to earth and you come across as a very genuine person. I can’t believe some of the assumptions people made, some were just rude and uncalled for. I would love for Spencer to to a video on his hearing loss, I also have hearing loss and wear hearing aids in both ears and Im visually impaired as well. Hi Imogen,Thank you so much for your videos i cant tell you how much they havemade a difference to my daughter she has a stomach condition and a neurological condition.We are constantly in and out of hospital and most recently we were in hospital over Christmas.Having someone like you talking like this has helped her not to feel so isolated or embarrassed about her health.We have experienced exactly your journey pretty much and the frustration when you feel like doctors are dismissing your suffering because of their own arrogance.I thank you again for your honesty and the inspiration you have given my daughter to stay positive.My daughters is called Maddie and she is a truly beautiful person inside and out❤️

From being born till maybe about 9 years old I was deaf I had two hearing aids I was lucky enough to have an operation that more a less improved my earing 85% I can't really remember how to felt to be deaf but I salute you for being so unjudgemental as sometimes even now when people find out I was deaf people mock it xx

I really can relate to spencer, I’ve no high tone hearing and wasn’t picked up till really late, so I’d learnt to lip read without knowing and because I’m concentrating so much on what people are saying my face is quite blank and I’ve had people comment on It before. It also took me a lot of time to feel comfortable wearing hearing aids as had to have round the ear ones but now they’re almost invisible I wear one most of the time... two is over kill and can’t hear a word people say. X

I can really relate to Spencer with his hearing, I’m 14 and just over a year ago I lost 80% of my hearing in 1 ear and I really struggle sometimes. I don’t wear my hearing aid because I’m scared people will say things to me even though I’m a confident person it’s just a personal thing that I find hard to deal with. I feel like I can really understand everything that’s he’s talking about and I understand how hard it can be at times, especially when people I am around forget about my hearing loss and do something such as whisper into my right ear (the one that has hearing loss) I really struggle but I feel too awkward to say anything and I just sit in silence. It would really help if Spencer did a video about it, especially because I feel like I’m in his position atm because he didn’t wear his hearing aid for whatever reason when he was younger and I just feel like I have no motivation to wear it not just atm but ever. Xx

Thank you sm for this, it is exactly what I needed to read. I have a hearing aid and I was really positive about wearing it at first then I just completely change my mind about the whole idea. They haven’t mentioned anything like that to me yet, but I will bring it up in my next appointment, I have a woman that comes into school and just talks to me about it and tries to persuade me into wearing it as does my audiologist but I just don’t like the idea of it, thank you for all your help. 💗
I wear hearing aids too but don’t wear them because In school I got traumatised about them been deaf since I was 2 so can relate to this so much c
