I think what separates what I call "lawn-chair bows" from good bows it just experience of shooting in games. A common trend I've seen from talking to those who play in a static position is they mostly play mmos and mobas. The good bows have mostly played fps games their whole life. Shooting bow for a player who's used to tab targets isn't going to be easy for them. Hell, it's challenging enough for the fps crowd.
Never thought of it like that, but makes 100% sense.
As a competitive FPS lover and MMO player i do agree. I can dodge 10 arrows from these static "noobs" and just do one dodge roll into a headshot. :D Granted the bad optimization and FPS drop is very harsh in NW. I also got 1300hours in as a bow player, experience -> muscle memory -> practice etc
As someone who never played an fps on pc I can proudly say I'm a lawn chair bow

How did you do so much damage with a heavy shot only? You pretty much 2 tapped the guy there. My shots are dealing like half the damage of yours
He has like 0 con musket lol. + we are using nature build (which nobody slots gem for) basically ignore peoples thrust gems

Great tips. Would love to see a video with tips on dueling bows w/ bows. All the things you mention come into play but I feel like it has its own dynamics & strategies when it comes to when to use abilities/heavy attacks and how to know when to eat a shot vs. avoid taking any for example.

I got 2 good questions: I want to use blooddrinker as a solo OPR guy - What do I put on it? thrust dmg or blood letting? Also i pair bow with finisher and play flourish & finish atm. Question2: what do i put on finisher? Keenly jagged? Viscious? Empower?

Random question, but what mouse do you use? Thanks for the video! I've considered switching to bow from hatchet/ice gauntlet. Not sure if I want to put the time into switching or not, but seems intriguing! I like the idea of ranged combat after spending so much time with melee (hatchet).

And remember guys - just play. If you are picking up bow you will not be good from start, play, learn, get muscle memory etc and you will see results after some time.

They need to nerf healers, yesterday I spent at least 5 minutes trying to kill a healer on a 1v1 open pvp world 😒
Yea, I ok with keeping the healing values, just give them longer cooldowns man
I mean, what are healers supposed to do since they can't do as much damage besides healing, as a Healer I feel like even doing pve is rough because of the lack of damage in the higher level areas and sometimes depend on someone running by and helping me. I'm mostly speced into Focus with some health and it takes ages to kill some mobs. Using both a 699 staff and Lifetaker for defubbing and I feel like it doesn't cut it. For pve I dont even bother trying to kill anyone and simply do my job as a healer, I feel like nerfing fire staff is more needed lol
@@davidalex0607 I believe that right now with the flail and artifacts, healers can hit way more. This guy that I was fighting was hitting me hard with the VG. I think the healers need to be nerf on PVP not PVE, also fire staff its way more annoying then healers lol

Bow needs a buff for everywhere other than opr. Opr I agree it's oppressive to have so many on bow except those like us who play aggressively and actually run into points and chase down players not fire away from a rock. It's kinda lame to have fire staff bb dominating 3v3 and open world pvp and bow gets straight nerfs because so many use it to play ranged on opr.

I have a question, if i put points on focus for have the reduce of skills timer it is worth it ? (I'm french so sorry if i speak bad) i play bow and rapier for make damage or make move the enemies with status effect for the precision
It is only worth it if you already have 4/4 refreshing

Sorry noob question. In a previous video, you stated our 2 most important perks are Enchanted Ward and Health +2.4%. I was wondering if it's advisable or even better to have 4 or 5 Shirking Heals instead of Health? Or is that not advisable? Ty 😊 BTW I have a pvp set of gear and a pve set of gear. The Shirking heals would be just for the pvp set.

So my probelm is im curretly using the VG bow build, its nice. I kill, i do damage. But theres no real secodnary weapon use veyond teather/ scream and orb i have never really thrown a projectile out with the vg, i do miss my spear/ rapier looks fun but the ring is necessary and i dont think theres a farmable thrust bleed hearty ring and i definitely do not have 150k or more to buy that ring which curently in cos ive seen 2 sell for.
Rappier s tier weapon honestly and one of the best imo
