Sounds picky I know but it is literally that version of the song that I desperately want to get my hands on :(((((

Po from what we saw of him was definitely too reckless, impulsive and carefree for his own good, in contrast to Han being more self-disciplined and determined in his actions and how he chose to live his life (ie becoming a cop and then taking the fall for his family and going to jail). In spite of that they were clearly close.
opposites attract man, they balanced each other out, that's how they were close. And Po was killed because he was gonna expose the Triad plan to the O'Day gang
Po was young and reckless true. Han the older brother was more disciplined because he use to be a ex cop.

I always liked this scene. It felt pretty peaceful (despite the situation in the movie was/Han searching through his dead brother's apartment). The background music is very beautiful. Wish I had it, like many here.

THIS SONG EXPLAIN HOW HE AND HIS BROTHER WERE SO CLOSE
This ambient oriental style music is what basically got me into that genre of music. Also the PS1 game Tenchu which I played a lot around the same time. I was taken twice to see this at the theater. The OPENING TITLES with that DMX song was a big reason I wanted to see it again, but also this scene was so peaceful.
Also at the time I was a big DMX fan, and liked Jet Li after seeing Lethal Weapon 4 just 2 years before. Plus Aaliyah was always talented and I had a crush on her (and Brandy). I still own this on DVD. The 1st time I saw this at the theater, we walked thru the Mall after and I got Ice Cube: War and Peace Vol 2, and The Outlawz CD "Still I Rise".
The scene called for it. This one made me tear up. When you love brothers. Chinese do. I do. I cried.

Ok - it’s 2019 ... This is not daveed in trance ... and it’s certainly not the dragonfly orchestra track either .. the only thing I think that’s happened is the flute is a sample off a really rare high quality sample pack ... it wouldn’t surprise me if one copied another but couldn’t say who copied who ... daveed and this are so similar it’s unreal but they are definitely different tracks ... the search continues
you're right, it is a sample. I had it in my samples library, it's a big pack of asian samples and it's been used a thousand times by a huge number of any kind of new-age\ambient\chillout and world-music composers such as Karunesh (especially him), Simon Posford, Yanni etc.

I I am very, very disappointed in the sound track. There was ONE song in the movie that I gave 100 percent credit to, and that was the song that was playing when Jet Li went in Po's room the song had an Asian tone Flute. But the song is not a part of the track. The music is beautiful. I would love for someone, anyone to tell me the name of that song.

Yeah all I know is that Stanley Clarke is the artist who composed the song. Track name still unkown and even worse then that, they never released the "Musical Score" album for that movie so we cant even buy the song if we wanted to!! >,
