I have to admit the first time I watched the series I didn't want them to end up together romantically but now I'm re watching it for the third time and I'm thinking it's right. They should be together. Molly taught him that he needed a good person not just a hot body and she will always be the first woman he loved but Betty and Daniel's friendship was so good and that's the best way to start a relationship...being friends...really caring about someone and as Hilda said loving them so much you'd do anything for them and being with someone who knows you better than you know yourself (I think that was what she said her wedding speech I can't remember it verbatim.). Daniel had to let Betty go to live her life in London and they owe it to themselves to try to figure out if they can be together like that or not...he didn't go after her right away he gave her some time there he didn't stalk her...he just wanted to see if there was anything there so he wouldn't always wonder. I have gotten hurt a lot more times than I like to count but at least I don't have any guys that I think I should have said something or did something to try to keep him. That would be so hard to live with!

Though I am kinda sad too...as you totally nabbed my idea. ;) I too was thinking about making a Detty vid to Cookie's version of this song, ever since I saw the finale. I never ACTUALLY made it though, but I DID get close once or twice. ;) *sigh* Anyhoo, from start to finish, you've done an EXCELLENT JOB here.
