@@osbaldohernandez9174 it’ll work. but white gas or camp fuel is a lot cheaper. and it burns a lot cleaner. you can get a gallon at walmart for like $10.
Try not to overfill. Over saturation can make it harder to light. If you do, just let it stand a bit to evaporate excess fluid. Same concept applies to zippo fluid
In the video I heard "I filled this about 3/4 with isopropyl alcohol" while the description says "2 parts charcoal lighter to 1 part isopropyl alcohol". And then he flipped the 3/4, 1/4 near the end of the video. And then changed the proportions in the updated section. Anybody see what's wrong there??? Bueller? Bueller?
Olive oil is flammable. Look up "olive oil lantern". It probably wouldn't work well in a zippo though. I am not sure the spark would be enough to ignite the olive oil. Perhaps a mix of olive oil and alcohol. Although I don't know how miscible olive oil is with any alcohols. Once I get a new zippo I may have to try it and find out.
95% alcohol best for zippo fuel the flame is just a abit little fire not like that its too big it will burn your eyebrow when taking cig Btw:im not smoking
so instead of doing 50/50 you changed the ratio to 1/3 and 2/3? i thought you said you only shook what you already mixed and fro some reason tried it in other lighters so where did you get this 1/3 2/3 thing?
This might work, but the oxygen to fuel ratio is too high when it accumulates under the cap. Blow on the wick before sparking it and it should light. Cheers
isopropyl has too much water mixed in with it, give denatured a try with the charcoal fluid instead. I use denatured all the time to firescale proof metal before brazing.
Don't use Cologne I used it one time and had to change out the rayon (btw cigarette filters work fine for a replacement medium to hold the fluid) and the wick.
might want to repack and fix the wick ... that was a problem i had... onc eI repacked it and reseated the wick it would burn Gas zippo juice coleman juice kinsford juice...
Anything other than zippo lighter fluid can combust if you leave it lit for a long period of time meaning if you use rubbing alcohol or charcoal lighter fluid or even gasoline and you light the lighter and leave it lit long enough then the flame will flare up and create an explosion of flames and embers and sparks and burn your house down so only use zippo lighter fluid because zippo lighter fluid doesn't combust and usually has a very low flash rate than other flammable resources zippo lighter fluid is also safe to use and won't leave toxic fumes in the air because charcoal lighter fluid can also give off carbon monoxide which can kill you if you inhale enough of it the fumes from other flammable resources other than zippo lighter fluid can kill you if you inhale enough of it you can use gasoline or even methanol and it won't light if you strike the flint wheel a few times because even gasoline and methanol have much higher flash rates than zippo lighter fluid and will only light if you use another lighter to light it so guys only use zippo lighter fluid because zippo lighter fluid is safe and won't give off toxic fumes and plus zippo lighter fluid is orderless too and it's not as toxic compared to charcoal lighter fluid and it won't give off carbon monoxide either and won't combust because it's non combustible and won't burn your house down
first lesson all "flint for lighters " aint flint they are ferocious rods flint is a crystal like quarts so is chert obsidian etc...cut a piece small enough to fit under that steel wheel , the minute you spin that sucker the "FLINT" would shatter like glass faro is a mix of iron rust , magnesium , cesium etc... this mix is called mish medal it is soft flint when scraping fillings off steel creates 800 deg. sparks faro when scraped by steel creates sparks in excess of 3000 deg. i generally charge 500 for a 1 day coarse that this is part of did you learn any thing GOOD!!!!!
6:42 flicks out knife all cool then almost cuts himself
20% Rubbing Alcohol and 80% Paint Thinner; you will be happy with the results
Naphtha
@@JamesStephen710does it work cause someone said it’s the same thing
@@osbaldohernandez9174 it’ll work. but white gas or camp fuel is a lot cheaper. and it burns a lot cleaner. you can get a gallon at walmart for like $10.
Coleman fuel works and that is what zippo fuel is.And it is 8 to 9 bucks for a gallon.
And Coleman fuel is 50to55 octane white gas.
Regular Coleman Fuel, not kerosene ,will work good as regular liter fluid.
Try not to overfill. Over saturation can make it harder to light.
If you do, just let it stand a bit to evaporate excess fluid. Same concept applies to zippo fluid
My suggestion, adjust how much oxygen that gets to the wick. If you adjust it right, you should make it able to light easilly
And we'll use our funnel.... Tears lid of ketchup bottle.
Lighter fluid works well lol
I used 50-50 and it's perfect

I used 50/50 iso and mixed even parts charcoal fluid and it lit the first try waited 5 minutes and lit it again no problem

something about lighting cigarettes with bug spray doesn't sound that safe to me
There's this thing called editing, maybe you should look into it...
Avore _ go to another video if u want annoying skips and stupid fucking music
The point is to show that there's nothing behind the scenes, if you edit it, it defeats the purpose
Jesse White lol, why you don't like techno music? So true, I hate those skips.
Try jack d if it doedent work you can drink it and feel good about ter loss lol
haha...lol
I just feel bad for your lack of spelling skills
Kerosene works every time. Plus you need to use denatured alcohol no isopropyl alcohol.
This might work, but the oxygen to fuel ratio is too high when it accumulates under the cap. Blow on the wick before sparking it and it should light. Cheers

he was using 91% he should try 99% but what denatured are you specifically talking about like methanol?
PAINT THINNERS IS WHAT I USE😎😎
you are VERY careful! O.O
the brand expert grill lighter fluid and it works
Don't use Cologne I used it one time and had to change out the rayon (btw cigarette filters work fine for a replacement medium to hold the fluid) and the wick.
u can use a bic lighter flint
Kinda gummy for the wheel though.
Primus PowerFuel
you should do hairspray
it seems this and the last video you been blowing up parts of your lighter lol
have you tried a 50/50 mix?
might want to repack and fix the wick ... that was a problem i had... onc eI repacked it and reseated the wick it would burn Gas zippo juice coleman juice kinsford juice...
Will 70% alcohol work
have you tested perfume yet?
Have you tried bourbon
Can u please try Olive oil or butain please
Karosene 3-4 bucks a gallon... A lot cheaper than lighter fluid
Just use Crown white gas $7.64 a gallon. at walmart.
Stove,lantern and lighter.
It work's. TU
...thermite?...
(iron oxide and aluminum powder)
Yup that-that’ll work
Rubbing alcohol (like you're using) is not pure alcohol. So you're pretty much putting a lot of water in your lighter once the alcohol burns off.
Moonshine
The isopropyl alcohol did burn low which means it burns
Can you even fathom how dangerous this is?

Travis Gulley lol sure i do this method all the time nothing bad has ever happend
Travis Gulley Holyshit. That's a longass ramble.
olive oil
Watch out for Benzene with charcoal lighter fluid.
Try soaking the wick in some alcohol
Paracord wick
Try use a mix of ketchup and liquor
Does no one know you can use gasoline?
Yes but gasoline doesn’t take a spark very well and I don’t know about you but I don’t want to inhale what is essentially car exhaust when I light up
naptha
Speciosa naphtha
this lite salt, red emergency flare
14 minutes to put Isopropyl Alcohol And Charcoal in a astupid lighter
use petrol it will work well
Yeah use it on the petron area and try it and then boom it work

I think alot of people know this but what else are you going to call it? Metal that makes sparks but not foint
i call it what it is faro rod
Wait. He could have put lighter fuel in the alcohol and grill lighter bottles but I'm sure he dident
You could blow the lighter out so as to not cover the inside of the lid with soot.
try olive oil
Try vodka
Try body spray
Diesel fuel works I know that..
Bic problem solved
Paracord is nylon... it'd melt and run everywhere. Horrible idea.
no, no do bug spray
Use new filters, just smoke a few unfiltered
Maybe you don't know what paracord is. Google it.
Use math
Use Axe collogn
!!
thag will damage the wick
Your mom is going to be so mad.
you cheap skates ... buy Zippo fluid or just go buy a bic lighter.
brianminkc he was seeing if it would work read the tittle bumb fuck
learn how to type hay seed.
Dumbass, the idea is to find alternatives if lighter fluid is not available!
