This wasn’t just a cover, but an entire performance. How Octavio fluctuates and plays with his range pleases the brain worms for me (like at 2:21; I just think how he sings this line is pretty nifty). But what astounds me is how he maintains so much control. Best example is 3:27, how he rounds off a blood curdling scream (in a good way that perfectly fits the song) into his signature vibrato before finishing off on a manic note.
Your honor, he ate and left no crumbs, no spoon and fork, no plate, no table, no dining room, and no kitchen.

I know this cover is mainly influenced by Ado's cover of this Kikuo original, but man, you threw me back to Izuru's cover of this song with how epically you interpreted this song, Ock!
I just can't get over the maddening despair in his scream (see 1:19, and more impostantly 3:23 to 3:35). It's not "please love me", it's "Love me, *damn you!* " type of despair. It brings tears to my eyes sometimes honestly.

Sillies mostly aside, I’m gonna try my damndest to contain myself to a singular, cohesive message and not just go absolutely insane in this comments section. As a fellow music nerd, so sorry for the literal essay I wrote.
That first line was so gorgeously delivered, and I fully thought in that moment I knew what direction this cover was going, but then the second hit, and my jaw dropped. And that did not change. My mouth stayed agape for the rest of the song, each phrase giving me a new and stunning reason to gasp and gape in literal awe.
Octavio, to put it simply, no one is doing it like you. You’re not simply a singer, you’re a storyteller. It is clear as day from the first bar of your performance that you have a vision, and by god did you execute it.
The absolute flexing of your sheer range? Mixing whispers and those screams?!? Every single line delivery was an incredible choice and so varied from one another and integral to the presentation of the song as a whole. I will never get over how you can make your voice sound like a stringed instrument. Not to mention your absolutely stunning vibrato and head voice? Your vocal control and inflection is unfathomably impressive.
Been here since day one, and was absolutely charmed with your demeanor and floored by your skill. If you’re capable of stuff like this? I cannot believe it’s only been six months.
