- In Part 1 - • How to Update Lowrance... - we walked through updating the software of 2 HDS Pro graphs and an ActiveTarget and ActiveTarget 2 to the latest Version: 23.3-67.3.25, now we're out on the water to put it to the test! Did Lowrance fix our issues?? It's looking pretty good to us!

Last weekend at a small local lake I could see bluegill & crappie schools out 110 feet with bass feeding up on them in about 10 feet of water. I typically run it around between 60-80 feet but will push it out 100-120 when I'm heading to a new spot to see what's going out way up ahead of me.
Mate, you have got your screen ratios messed up which is why the fish are showing up as lines and difficult to see, let alone tell what they are.
Set your distance with the proper ratio to the depth and the fish will look like fish, so much so that you can usually tell what they are as you can see the body shape and fins.
In shallow water that does mean you won’t be looking 80ft out but then that is what scout mode is for 👍🎣
With my set up on my Hobie PA12 kayak. My gt56 is basically directly under my seat on the transducer plate which can pull up inside. So when it's deployed, It's exactly as if it's mounted on the bottom. My Lvs34 transducer is on a pole to my right, in line with my seat & is just barely deep enough to see under me. So I can scan 360° around myself. I've never had any interference what so ever running them together. Even scanning across my other side, so that my lvs34 transducer is shooting sonar across my side imaging ducer. Their in same plan of water column & closer to 16-20 inches apart. I wonder what's causing that interference for you?? Let us know what exactly was causing i t & how you fixed it please. Sonar imaging looks awesome besides the interference
Russell Marine does awesome direct comparisons of hummingbird, Lowrance & Garmin's side & forward facing sonars. Their all great now days. The HD 3n1 looks great but so does mega + & GT56. Their all so close now days! I'm curious why you're getting interference like that? I run lvs34 & GT56 ony Hobie kayak. The transducers are less than 3 feet of each other & I run them simultaneously all the time. I've never gotten any interference. Everything always looks crisp & clean.
I might be wrong but i thought i seen somewhere on the web that theres a setting to helpwith or stop interference

Cannot see a real difference between Hds live and pro.
Tried it? Should be better and more clear shallow water? >15 feet specially?
Cant see the difference between Carbons,Lives,or Pros!Just say….It’s a money thing Lowrance!
